Called and called and then called my 80 year old parents asking for me.  Don't know where they got their number but these folks are scum.  Collection agency.

Keep getting automated voice messages from Sentry Credit (of course never identifying themselves)asking me to call 1-800-608-2581. I have always wondered over the years how these pathetic people sleep at night making a living doing what they do?  I have scrubbed toilets, I have cared for the sick and dying, I have sold my belongings in order to make a living - but never ever would I think of working for a collection company for a living. I put that job into the same category as "pimping", "selling organs on Ebay", "puncturing your ex-boyfriend's tires", "working the welfare system fraudulently" and over course the "Quick Cash Loan Offices". WOW!  Sad, Sad little souls that can only get those sneaky snake jobs.

Got a voice mail at my place of employment today (1/9/8) from a Brian Matthews telling me he needed me to call this number because he "is the person in charge of my file" at their office.  He never identified what company he was with or what it was regarding.  That may be the oldest (AND  lamest) "fishing line" in history, so why even use it?  With all the spam email that's proliferated the internet in the last several years, we are fortunately trained not to respond to correspondence from unknown sources.  Sorry Brian, but you and the company you're too ashamed of to even mention can kiss my *ss.

I get calls from this number and then a couple seconds later they call me using a different number.  Of course I don't answer anymore, I know what they want and they know why they are calling but it never stops but as Shawn stated above I never give any mind to the calls anymore.  Hey I lost my right leg and right side of my pelvis in a car accident so they little peices of S**T will have to wait.  And when I can pay I will not pay them and money will only go through the real creditor or no one will get it.  They also call under 4252579500

They called and called and called..said his name was Mat Stone and he needed to talk to me about an urgent matter..finally I decided to call them back, I knew it was about a loan i cannot pay back due to 50% paycut at job of 30 years..tried to make payment arrangements with this one, and they did not like my suggestion which would have meant paying them back in full without the collateral of my home..SO..losing my home, losing everything... filing for bankruptcy once i can get the $$ together....they act like they want to help you and then they get mean...telling me I am immoral....end of conversation....I do not know how they can be so cruel...I would say they are the immoral ones...

He can't believe no one has called me because my file is on his desk and they have spoken to their customer and they have a business opportunity for me...

Pretty hilarious. Total idiots. Why don't they just say I've won an all expense paid trip to the Bahamas and all I need to do is send them a check for $500... That's a good one too!!!

I could come up with something believable in about 5 minutes and get people on the phone wanting to talk to me, but then considering what you have to have crawled out from under to do this job... it kind of makes sense that they wouldnt be that bright.

got a call from these these people. i would normally not return the call but they asked for me by name. I was curious what they wanted. They answered the phone with "Sentry credit"-and put me on hold. when somebody else picked up and they asked if I was calling from the number he read back to me--I said that number was correct and he said "uh oh" and hung up--frickin' idiots.

I don't have any credit problems and I'm not behind in bills, so I don't know what they want or what these people are about.

just pay your damn bills.  collectors are not the bad guys, you "turnips" need to start manning up and fullfull your obligation.  they are just trying to help if you would actually just pick up a phone or return a call, you idiots

Ever consider these [***] are calling the wrong number. They arent tying to "help" anyone just themselves to get some commission on long dead accounts.

"we have very immportant information that just came to them, that we need to talk to you about right away"  "were giving you the opertunity.." "only going to be in my office for 15 mins"  Go to hell you [***]!

got a call from Steve Brassfield for my daughter saying he had a lot of information for her, to call him at 800-608- 2581, but never identified his company or what this information was about. I think by law, Fair Credit reporting act, they have to notify you a certain way in a certain length of time or they are going against the law. Obviously she is not going to call them back. Neither would I.

These idiots keep calling me, now they are saying they are from "Washington" and they need to talk to me right away!  Get the point, I'm not gonna pay, get in line!  They will call from out (425) number after I do not answer the first.

I too have been getting these calls, No saying who or what about, last one said "this is a Corp. matter", and asked for my wife too, and She has Nothing to do with any Bills they are trying to collect on.

For the last couple of months I have been receiving calls from a couple of
different numbers. Retired low income now,but before had Phone# unlisted for
20 years and of course the rates went way up so I had to list it. It is like
they pull it out of the Telephone Book. They are not using my real first Name.
I finally picked-up and said that person has never lived here and I had this
# for 20yrs.Stop calling. Still calling, saving recordings for FCC if needed.

next time they call ask for the address, in writeing tell them to stop calling you number and any other numbers you dont want them to call. if they keep calling you can sue them. make sure you send it certiffied... o yeah if you tell them even one time not to call work or a cell phone because you have to pay for minutes and they keep calling you can sue them for that as well.

Note to soldier. While people should indeed pay their debts sometimes these call come in for someone that is not the intended victom....err debtor. Unless I'm dreaming or suffering dilusions my name is not Ann Dusacy (or howver you spell it) yet I'm being called on a number I have had for years. Either she is likely a crook or they are likely are (or both).

How ironic that it is not improbable in the least that some scum stole someones identity and racked up debt giving my number and now some shister collection agency (does not conduct calls honestly)is trying to reach the scam artist by bugging me.

danielle kennedy aka danielle davis...go to sentry credir's intranet on google. it gives all real names and extensions for Everett and Vancouver locations.

I got several call from 1800 608-2581, they try to get more information about me , and they said that they are Collection agency, and ask me if I am xxxxxxx  xxxxxxx they want to be sure about my name , I am  following  the game and I want to to know what about information they get about me.  
the last 4 digits of my SSN , first name , and address are false also the collection amount is false, I always I do the payments on time, I am very sure that is a theft. The question is,  why they get my phone nomber and the last name ?

Ex employee?  Keep your comments to yourself.  I'm sure you remember how hard it was to collect on VALID debts when people just want to argue.  Sorry it didn't work out, go find a job that fits you better.  Not everyone at Sentry is the same.
