No, sorry but you are misled in your beliefs that they are here to "help."   Haha I may have believed that at one time, when I had a bill that was sent to CornerStone Credit.  I was early EARLY 20's at this time and being an Alaskan,  I had gladly obligated my Permanent Fund Divided (PFD) to them to pay off my balance.    Well I had overlooked quite a large speeding ticket fine, and my PFD, which was a smaller amount this particular year than it usually is, was garnished by the State to pay the Traffic Fine.    Well, I leaned it was Garnished right as the PFDs rolled out, and when I next spoke with CornerStone and informed them that my PFD was no longer available to pay off my debt with them, I quickly added that I would pay them bi monthly with a portion of my salary, the CornerStone Representative became , I will say Mildly, Enraged.   He told me that I had promised my PFD and that that's what they wanted, no Demaned .    He told me he was NOT setting up an additional payment plan , bc I had promised my PFD. (Yes, he was repetitively STUCK on my promise to pay with my PFD)   He was yelling , refused to work with my  by creating an alternative plan and he VERYMUCH left me in literal tears while I was sitting at my desk at work.       (I'm Alaskan. As I've stayed, and I have always prided myself on my tough nature and my aversion to crying)

THATS why I know and understand that what the above commenters have stated is VERY Real and True to Life.

They don't care about people or anything really other than Their Personal Bottom Line.
I was 100% willing and wanting to clear my debt , but that all too  common interaction shut me down to them for life.
