i got a call from this #,,always calling i dont know who they are,of course nothing will be done about it

They are FirstPoint Collection agency in Greensboro, NC.  And like my financial advisor told me, they are scum of the earth.  They are subhuman drones who don't have the ambition to get a real working job, so they sit on their butt all day and harass innocent people.  Upon telling them that the person they were looking for was not here, they proceeded to call me several more times and hang up on me, all while I was at work.  When I called them back to find out what their problem was, the same lady I had already spoken with acted like this number didn't pop up on her little screen, and asked what number I was calling from, just one of many dishonest and underhanded tricks they employ.  When I pressed her on it, she claimed that my number had been removed.  When I asked why they then kept calling, she said that she saw on her screen where I had spoken to 3 different people today and they had all 'removed' my number from their call list.  When I questioned why they were still calling if this was true, she basically blew me off and hung up.

I get at least 3 calls a week from these people for every deadbeat with my initials. I am not Leon, Leonard, Larry, Leslie, LeKeisha, or Leona. I don't understand why these people can't use whitepages.com. It clearly states who is at my number! Geez!!!

Got a call from them for the same reason....looking for my son, but left no information.  I called the no response # of 1-877-412-4704, but then called the 1-800-609-5666.  I left them a message of no one lives here by this name.  Then when I called the # on my caller ID, I got someone inquiring who was I and how as I related to the person.  When I asked them why they were calling, they hung up.  I did not give them any information as to who I was but they just called the wrong number.  My child has been in jail for almost a year....so this has to be a "search" they're doing to try to scam people!  Report them to the BBB and to the Attorney General's office in your state!

I keep getting calls but when I call back, they never put me through to anyone.  So I called the alternate number I found on their website but they were closed.  I have sent two emails and tried numerous time to get in touch with them but to no avail.

Rec'd call from this number on my cell... No one there.  No voice mail, ect, ect, ???????

Not stupid, just down on our luck trying to make it day by day with the bare minimums like rent, food, power and water. Have some compassion you uptight POS. If we could pay the debts we would, other times its the wrong number. Geesh.

They called at 1100 this a.m. Not recognizing the number, I did not answer. They left a message alleging they were looking for a named individual who did not live at our house.

They did specify that they were a collection agency and if the person they were trying to reach was not at our phone number, call them back  877-412-4704 and let them know.

I called them back and left a message on their answering machine that they had the wrong number.

They mispronounced my name so I told them there was nobody here by that name but then I looked this up to see that they're a debt collector and called back in case it was important.  I don't know of any debts I have.  They knew my name by my phone number I called from and then put me through to someone...don't know.  I held for five minutes and then I hung up.

Neee to pay my bill, works at a standstill, won't try to explane they never understand and don't care bout my problem...

I couldn't answer the phone when initially called. When I called back, spoke with a rep who immediately started asking me personal information. After confirming my address and wanting to ask more personal information, I asked who this is and she would not answer, that she 'legally' could not tell me. I asked next who this legally was and she started going off that I need to stop yelling and hung up. I never raised my voice, just concerned as to who and why this person was calling me asking me my personal information. As far as I know all my bills are and have been in order for years which adds to the confusion if this is a collection agency.

If this call was legitimate, why the quick high-tail hang up?

1) SOME OF US DID PAY OUR BILL AND GOT CALLED ANYWAY,
2) SOME OF US NEVER GOT A BILL, ... OR
3) THE REST OF US NEVER EVEN CREATED A BILL AND THESE PEOPLE ARE EITHER CALLING OLD INCORRECT NUMBERS, AND/OR LIKE SCUM BAG COLLECTION AGENCY'S NEVER CALL PEOPLE KNOWING THEY'VE ALREADY PAID THE BILL AND ARE TRYING TO CONVINCE PEOPLE THEY NEVER PAID IN ORDER TO GET PEOPLE TO PAY THE BILL A SECOND TIME IN ORDER TO POCKET THE MONEY (it's called double dipping!) AND/OR THEY'RE JUST COLD CALLING NUMBERS TRYING TO CONVINCE PEOPLE THAT THEY HAVE A BILL THEY NEVER REALLY HAD TO BEGIN WITH! LIKE COLLECTION AGENCIES HAVE NEVER BEEN KNOWN FOR BEING LESS THAN HONEST AND JUST DIRT BAGS IN GENERAL, KINDA LIKE YOU!
4) OR...MAYBE, JUST MAYBE, ... some people would LOVE to pay their bill, but can't! Now that NEVER happens!!!

Man, how hateful and cold-hearted can you be!?! And if you didn't get a call from these jerks, why are you even here making hateful comments? If THAT'S the case, ... then YOU REALLY NEED TO GET A LIFE!!!

I received a call form First Point  800 609 5666 for my Grandson who lives 600 miles from me, they would not give me any information as to why they had my telephone number , we are on the do not call list , this had better be the end of their calling my home.

They were calling my daughter's cell phone relentlessly for someone we have never heard of. Called the 800-288-7408 number listed below, pressed 0 for operator and told the woman that answered to remove my daughter's number. She was polite and compliant. Hopefully the calls will stop. Thanks for posting the info.

I received a call from this number from a man with a ghetto accent who insisted he could not tell me what the call was about until I identified myself with the last four numbers of my social security number.  Kept mentioning federal law.  When I refused first he got nasty and kept saying it was all on public record anyway so what was the difference.  Then he said I should call hm back, but never gave me either a name or an extension.  

The local hospital musty have given them my account.  I have a billing dispute with them over unauthorized charges and errors in the bill.   The hospital wrote they were investigating my claims and would respond shortly.  They never did. That was the first week in September.
