- Done w PNCThank you PNC, I have a dead battery and 22 missed calls on my cellphone. Payment has been made nearly a month in advance and they are still calling, my cellphone and workphone. Person who leaves messages, ON MY WORK PHONE, speaks broken english. I called 888-PNC-BANK and felt the same as ANGRY MOM, I feel I wasted precious 15 minutes being told I needed to pay on time, after all, I used THEIR money, even though he said my account was current, he was rude, evasive, and I wondered if he had mental issues. He told me they are starting to call before the grace period, after all, he said for the 3rd time, "I was using THEIR money". What about the BILLIONS they are using of OUR MONEY!!! I guess now that they have the BIG bucks from the US GOV., they don't need our little penny annie interest payments, service charges and all these other "account maintenance" fees. I guess the 30.00 monthly service charge they have graciously deducted, for YEARS, are being used to pay people to collect on accounts that are not delinquent,(we all know, business "accounting expenses" are ALL 100% TAX DEDUCTABLE!). Lets do the math: 30.00 mth. x 12 mths. = 360.00 service charges, 1,000.00 interest, 135.00 in "account maintenance" (that little "hidden" charge). Who's money are we using again??? Are we Americans going to keep getting kicked around, or are we going to get our busy back bones straight and stand up for ourselves?

- Leave me aloneI received 10 phone calls from them on my cell phone on a Thursday. They continued to call me over the weekend even on Sunday night while I was eating dinner. My bill was 9 days late and I paid it however it wasn't showing up in their slow ass system. The woman said she would put a note in to stop calling. What do I get??? Another damn phone call. It is not fair nor humane how PNC harrasses its consumers. Whenever I would answer, the phone call would abruptly end. They had me on some automatic dialer just to annoy me and screw my day up

- jc| 1 replyinteresting to find this site. my loan with CLC was done through American Express, which was latter taken over by PNC, so i never thought i would go through this:no phone #to contact, no online service to check status, or get customer service. After calling PNC, being transferred and no one able to find my account, and i do have my act #, i hung up.i did google CLC and was able to get some information but still not able to talk to anyone. what's up with this company? jc
- sarab83| 1 replyWe've been getting phone calls from this number at least 4 times a day starting at 8:30AM. When we answer there is no company name and the automated message says please hold for next available, blah blah, blah. After holding for over 5 min and listening to annoying hold msg that doesn't ever say what the company is we hang up By the way, we do have a PNC loan that is NOT past due and is paid by the due date automatically every month. I think it's one of those scam calls that we've been getting aver since we got our new phone number.
- former employee replies to sarab83yeah they use an automated dialer, if an operator isn't available it has you on hold or if you have been on hold for a while it gives you the number to call into. there are(were) 20+ banks/mortage companys that clc serviced back when I was there. odds are if you are getting phone calls and your loan was serviced by a different company, that clc was contracted by your mortgage company to service past due loans. CLC is given a hard due date by the origional lender (say the 1st of the month) but the late fees don't kick in until say the 14th of the month. they will call on the 2nd if the hard due date is listed CONTRACTUALLY as the 1st. that's what the companies that hired them ask of them.
**if you have a cell phone, tell them not to call you on it, and cite FDCPA (Federal Debt Collection Practices Act) guide lines and that you can only be reached at a home #**. The reason they don't leave messages is because based on FDCPA, they can only contact you once a day, so if they leave a message, it's a contact and they can't call back. They want to talk to YOU, not your machine, so they will call and call and call until they speak with you. Talk to them and they can verify all your loan info/last 4 of your social security number so you can verify they aren't scammers/phishers and then get any issues squared away. a 5 min call with an operator may be annoying but it's much nicer than a credit ding for late payments. any and all account info from your name or social (yeah no one likes giving it, but that is honestly the fastest way we could look up any accts.) if they are calling you, ask for them to verify the last 4 of you ssn if you are worried its a scam.
If you call them, they can also search for your acct by name or account number, but unless your name is really exotic and has more than 5 vowels in it, the odds are they are going to have to go through a list of like 30 people with the same name to find why they were calling. A lot of banks and mortage companies are serviced by them so even if you don't think your loan/loc is with them, it may be serviced by them for whatever company you signed on with. - former employee replies to jc@ JC, amex account servicing with clc stopped well before I worked there (3yrs ago) well before i was employed at clc. if you call them back, just tell them you had an amex acct and no one was able to pull it up and ask for a supervisor, leave a msg with the supervisor if it goes to vmail with your name and phone # (the phone # is never recorded bc clc is in the stone age technology wise) Supervisors will be able to track down the correct # or clc servicing acct# for you.
- really?? replies to SS| 7 repliesthe point is the numerous amount of calls we are getting for a simple past due NOT delinquent accounts.
- John doe replies to really??Impsossible. If an account is current they won't call. Your payment hasn't posted yet, therefore is past due.

- FedUp| 1 replyI keep getting numerous calls, all show Unknown. I answer, and all I get is Let's Stay Together blasted in my ear, then says Thank you for holding, if you can't continue to hold, please call 1-800-642-6323. I don't have a loan, a mortgage, nothing. So the person saying to pay your bills and it won't happen is obviously wrong.

- sis replies to CLC Consumer Services/E-Tradewe too have a mortgage with e trade and they call at 8:15 on the due date and HARASS us about our payment every month - they are very, very rude.our payment has NEVER been late. many times when they call i will check with the bank and the payment is ALREADY CLEARED! the truth is their envelopes have a scan code that the post office scans when you mail it and they know your payment is in the mail. I truly think they are running a scam they want you to repay over the phone. my only recourse now is to tell them (law) that i am recording their calls and forward the information to the FCC and our Attorney General.
- sisjohn doe i will repost over and over again too - btw - you know you are wrong - you actually act like one of the jerks at clc -
