Received call from this number about 20 minutes ago. No message was left...
HQ in Jacksonville, Florida, Enhanced Recovery Corporation (ERC) is an Accounts Receivable Management/Collection Agency.  WEB SITE: erccollections[.]com
Also have received MANY previous calls from them using 800-278-2420,800-496-4598, 800-496-4599 as caller ID tel#.

ERC has already been mentioned on this site as the Company using (800) 685-3118 to bother you.  May I suggest a way to deal with collection agencies like this, that annoy you with multiple calls to your home or office, about credit you have nothing to do with? The internet has a ton of info you can find, just by digging into the telephone number, then company websites – which typically name senior level executives, and then some personal digging. If these collection agencies actually did this, they wouldn’t be calling so many wrong numbers!
We can return the favor, by calling the Executives, preferably at their homes, during dinner time. If not, calling the agency sales department (# is below) will be as annoying to them, as they are to us!  Turn-about is fair play – spread the word…

Over the past few months I was getting multiple calls weekly, usually leaving a message with a reference number.  Today I decided to call them back to see if I could put a stop to this.  It's a legitimate collection agency (I had checked) and menu options include "press 4 to report wrong number" ... so I did.  The young woman was very polite and apologized for the calls when I told her they were calling the wrong person ... my husband and I both have very common given and surnames.  Recently I've been answering or calling back numbers that seem legitimate or calling way too much and have been able to put a stop to future calls by letting them know we are not the people they seek.  As for the scammers, I just have to hope they will give up in time because my "block call" feature is full!

An automated call that always asks for someone who is not at this number.   Calls keep coming all the time!!

Ok the recording comes on stating if you are not the person delete the message so why have they kept calling after a year whoever they are looking for isnt at my number and I think if I pick the phone up to say this that the calls will continue anyway so haven't bothered

Who ever this company is keeps calling me and then hangs up numerous times, I have now blocked them from any income calls and have reported them to the BBB- Better Business Bureau, the number on my caller id is :800-685-3118

I feel like I have just been phished by this company. I got their automated msg regarding my "debt collection" and called to clear things up, confused as to what they were referring to. I was asked for my phone number and told they could not find anything. She said she could look it up with my social security number which I (slap my forehead) gave to her. Still couldn't find me. Surprise, surprise.

Call 800-617-0049 and have your number removed.  I spoke with an actual live person and they told me the name of the person they were calling about, which is not me.  I also told them I was going to report them for harassment if they called me again.  ERC is a pain in the [***] but I hope they will follow through and stop calling me.  Good luck!

They are Enhanced Recovery Corp- a debt collector. Just another in a long list of bottom feeding, debt collectors. Their calls to my number are now being forwarded to another debt collection agency. See how long it takes them to figure out what's up. Hopefully they'll give each other some serious attitude resulting in some yelling and cussing back and forth.
I like eavesdropping on these type of calls, occasionally I'll throw in a cuss word or foul name in the background (acting like one of them said it) just to get them started. Hahahahah....maybe I'll post some of the funnier, foul ones on Youtube!

Having issues with mail and mail lost. Could be nothing but had a call from Enhanced Recover while working on the issue. Never heard from them before and the one we have been contact by is being paid off. Just a feeling that it may be a issue. However could be a coincident. Do you have any other problems reported like this? Thank you

I am glad you have this website.  I just got a call from the 800 number and didn't know who it was. The phone I have is a free phone so I am sure it was someone trying to collect a debt from them.  May I make a suggestion?  On some of your cell phones there is a block application.  Use that and you can block their calls and any other calls that come in  which are annoying.

If ERC has that many BBB complaints, obviously they don't give a rats ass so why keep calling BBB.  There has to be a better way to deal with people like this.  My mother is in her early 90's and in poor health and they keep blowing her phone up every morning when she is still sleeping and when she answers they pause and then hang up and when you let it ring through they never leave a message.  I called the number back and a woman with a piss poor bad attitude hung up on me before I could even tell them to stop calling.
