- mond5004 replies to mond5004If you want o remove yourself from the call list, you have to go to their website to do it...you log into your Red Cross account and change your profile so they can't call you...
- pam| 2 repliesI called them back and picked option 2 and asked to be removed. They said a supervisor would have to call me back to confirm.
- Caller: Red Cross

- Keegan replies to pam| 1 replyThey ramp up their calling whenever there is a shortage of Blood in your area. It makes me laugh to see some of you people complain about being asked to help save lives. Thank god none of you are firemen/policemen/paramedics... talk about getting 911 calls at all hours.
- RobertB+Yep, It's the Red Cross. They got me today. I stopped donating when their moronic incompetent phlebotomists collapsed a vein in my left elbow during a donation, the same year, i ran a 5k for them and their CEO showed up in a NEW 2010 Ferrari and stepped right out and asked me for more money than my registration fee. No respect for them anymore. They arent helping people, they're buying ferarris and hiring bad phlebotomists.

- BoraxoI donated blood earlier this year and am now being harassed with daily calls. I called back and told them to put me on the DNC list but the call frequency simply went up. You can file a complaint at the ARC website using this link: http://www.redcross.org/go/contactus/public_form.html Also file complaints with ftc.gov and fcc.gov. Even though ARC is a non-profit that does not give them a license to harass people. My employer will also be getting a note.
Note to moron Keegan - many of us can't donate because we have visited African countries that are on the prohibited malaria list. Others are people too old or sick. But ARC continue to harass us even though they can't take the blood. So yes we are complaining - they need to respect our privacy if they want us to donate when we are eligible.- Caller: american red cross
- Call type: Telemarketer
- dlsDefinitely the Red Cross - they've called every day for the last 18 days even though I'm not eligible to donate for 2 more months. My wife and I call them "The Vampires"...

- Sick and tired! To all the people who work for the American red cross, please leave all of us here your full names and home phone numbers so we can call you several times a day to annoy the sh** out of you! I asked for a manager to ask about all the employees phone numbers for that reason, she assured me they would take our number off their list, only time will tell......
- Caller: Arc
- tohdrose| 1 replyI started receiving these calls 9/22 at 11:38 am, 9/23 at 5:29 pm, 9/24 at 6:53 pm & 9/25 at 5:35 pm and I'm in Washington State.....I thought I was on a national dnc list with my cell phone! I donate when I can with my blood but they can stop calling for all I care as they do not leave a message and I will not answer if I don't know who it is and will donate when I want too. But I guess you can take a horse to water but can't make them drink!

- RobertIt IS the Red Cross and the problem is their disfunctional computerized autodial system that uses so-called "predictive dialing." The result is daily calls that ring four times and then disconnect with no message left. If I answer prior to 4 rings, it disconnects immediately - no live rep or recording. Forget the "Do Not Call Registry" - it exempts nonprofits. The only way to force a change here is to complain LOUDLY and repeatedly to ARC via phone and/or e-mail. Let them know that you will NEVER donate blood or money until they pull the plug on their defective autodial system.

- Robert replies to KeeganYou're missing the point here, Keegan. It isn't about the worth of donating blood. It's about the ARC continuing to operate a disfunctional and intrusive autodial telemarketing system.
- Unhappy housewifeThis number keep calling me everyday, morning and afternoon.
Sometimes during my nap time, sometimes during my online class time.
It is really annoying. I wii donate blood whenever I feel like it or have time.
I do not like to be pushed and interrepted any time.
Please stop calling me.- Caller: American Red Cross

- JanetThis number displays on CID as UNAVAILABLE, calls I usually ever answer. Tonight I picked up the phone and learned it's the American Red Cross soliciting blood donations. My husband is a frequent O+ donor, and why they never left a message is beyond me!

- SusanCalled but left no message
- CaliThis number calls me at least 4 times a day. I used to let it go to the answering machine, but of course a message is never left. So now I pick up the line and mute it and wait to see if anyone says anything. You can hear the line connect and then immediately disconnect within 5 seconds of picking up. I live in California! I wish we could block numbers on our house phone like I can on my cell phone! They call at all hours of the day and weekend, including almost 9pm at night and 8am in the morning. CID says "unavailable."
- Caller: Unavailable
- ChrisGot a called last night and today and both times they said nothing to me when I answered. I guess it's the Red Cross, but they aren't going to get any donations if they never speak up!!
- Caller: Red Cross?
