They call early in the morning from different numbers.  800-741-2100 is just one of them.  The say they are LTD Collection Agency.  The telephone call starts off saying if you are "SMH" press 1 if not press 5. Then ask the same question again when you press 5.  Then they hang up.  It is a recording no one on the telephone.

LTD Financial Services LP, located in Houston,TX is a collection agency. They CANNOT name the credit card company/or debt on an answering machine. That would be against the law, so for those who complain and say they would pick up if they would indentify which creditor they are calling for, or that your identity is tying to be stolen, GET OFF YOUR DAMNED HIGH HORSE! The people who complain the most and cry that they are being harrassed are the people hiding behind there answering machines because they due not have the moral fortitud to pay their bills and want to play the victim roll!

have been receiving calls from the 1-800-741-2200...googled the number today to see who it was & found this site... not sure if my other unsolicited calls are from the same ppl, but i am constantly getting them and the caller never leaves me a voicemail but they will continually call, not leave msgs or not say anything when i do answer. how do people get away with this?!

It's funny that there is always some [***] on these sites that says what "b" said. What if you are getting calls from this company, yet all your bills ARE paid on time and in full??? what do you then when you can not get a hold of someone on the other end?

i get calls from them all the time and they ask for someone who is not me..."b" needs to realize these may be valid debts for some people but when they continually call a number that's not for the person they are asking for, that's harrassment.

I got a call from this outfit today at our business.  Told them that they had dialed the number of a nursing home.  They asked for a person that is not employed here, or even a patient here.  The man insisted that I put him through to this person.  Finally, I hung up on him.  Not worth wasting my breath.

I just received a call from this company.  To my knowledge, I do not owe anyone any money.  I tried to get them to tell me who they were collecting for.  The man became very foul mouthed, calling me a "C**t" and that I had better watch out, for he knows where my 10 year old daughter goes to school and wouldn't want anything "bad to happen to her"!  These people are totally SICK.  Even if I DID owe someone a debt, you don't threaten CHILDREN!!!!

Got a call for a Mike (don't remember last name)...automated recording...said that if "you're not so and so then plz hang up immediately".

This company is a botton feeder.  If you do owe a debt, they probably bought it for pennies on the dollar and are now going to threaten, lie, whatever to get money out of you.  Here's a link on their rap sheet, and it's a long one.  I'd be very careful w/any communication you may have with them and wouldn't give them any personal info.  Check it out:

They break every law in the book and they don't care.  Cheaper for them to pay attorney fees and get off the hook than to run a credible business.

I get calls from LTD Financial Services almost daily along with a few from some other companies as I have fallen hind on my bill paying do to having to close my company because of this bad economy! They call me on my cell phone because I don’t use a land line anymore! One thing that has helped me with these unwanted calls is using youmail and not my old cell phone company’s voice mail! With youmail I can make it so that they can’t leave any messages! But it does use up some cell phone minutes, but it’s been worth it!

how do i stop this people call me, my mane is on the do not call list, how do i file a complain or sue them

Just got a call from them, I did not answer, and they did not leave a voice mail message. It was a call to my cellphone, so I saved it as a contact and gave them a custom ring tone: no ring! It's a liberating feeling doing that. Got about 15 saved now, phone non-rings quite a bit, so it's time to drop this tracphone and get another.

Recieved recorded message on a Saturday night @ 8:15 pm.Leaves a refence #,misprononunces last name.When you call this number back sounds like a fax..Will not return call again.How do you contact and legitimately report to the FTC?

This is LTD Financial, they are a collection agency out of Houston. Sometimes their number appears as 800-741-2100. The agents use alias names like James Mason. You can let their calls go to voicemail, then delete them - they must contact you by USPS mail or courier (like Fed-Ex) before anything serious can happen to you, like a court date or judgement or wage garnishment. You can also write them via certified or registered US Mail asking them to stop contacting you by phone and they must comply.

they keep calling and leaving messages that are long. i always delete
