Do not pay for this service. You can have your pics on the profile if you want.. kinda like myspace.. but as far as the creative director sending you auditions...don't do it. You can get the same info from craigslist! So do it yourself and research if you want to model or act. Find a reputable agency that will represent you. You could even get a photographer who could help you with agencies he is affiliated with. There are slo other sites out there that would be more helpful. Usually the ones who take awhile on approving you are the legit ones.. Not the ones who just post your pics because you paid them to!

I got the phone call today. I was to ask for Selen, the creative director. They're all like how much can you afford, and I'm like uhh only 19 dollars. I had a feeling it was a scam, because while explaining the "auditions" they never stated where they were to be held and the time. I didn't pay/won't pay them a dime.

    SCAM ARTISTS!!!

Someone Feline, she is the creative director, called and said if we were serious about my daughter acting and modeling to call them, could hardly understand her. I was trying to search for their website to find out more about the agency and found this site. Thank you to everyone for posting, I'm so glad I didn't waste my time.

I was looking for part time job and the auditions at http://www.modeling-modeling.com/ and when I got the called I thought they were related.. I wonder where they got my number?. Bummer! I should be more careful. He said his name was George Brown and that he was the creative director; I was listening to him he started to sound redundant about the opportunities and talking to the “famous directors” it just sounded odd and like it was a sale speech, he had a very thick accent and was very hard to understand what he was saying. I told him I had to go and that I will think about it, when he didn’t want to hang up, I told him he was not being respectful and that I would talk to him later. By now I had my suspicion that it was a prank or just not right. The modeling web site above does require to have a subscription but don’t imposed and you can use it for free for a while. I’m still wondering where they got my name and number from.

    hey everyone,

I got a call from the same people today promissing the world for my 6 month old. What made me suspissious was that they had not even seen pics of my baby, so how could they promisse to get him in a commercial? Secondly they asked for the money right that instant. I said I had to check with my husband and the guy got so mad...started telling me that there is a deadline and it is either now or never. So I asked if the deadline was today how come they did not call me two days ago. He had no answr, of course and went on explaining that we need to trust them. Are you kidding me? We are talking about a 6 months old baby boy...I don't trust myself, let alone some freak. I asked for something in writing, like an email or something, saying what they promissed over the phone, he said they do not work like that:)hehe. Of course not. He was very pushy about me paying him right away that I said that I will not do it and he hung up on me, without a word. It is the biggest scam ever. I was in modeling myself before I had the baby and this is not how agencies work. At least some respect and it is never: Now or never...Espessially when it comes to children. They change every day. Don't submit anything with these guys. If you want carrer in modeling send your printed photos to reputable agencies directly.

Received a call from Ron Goldman, Senior Director for Explorer Talent. I goggled the number before calling back, and found the above postings. I called back with suspicion, not only from the postings, but also because Mr. "Goldman" left me a voice message with a strong Asian accent (Chinese? Thai?).

I called back and spoke with "Mr. Goldman." He wanted to know my phone number, and I told him that I would give it to him if he could tell me why he was calling me. After several seconds of silence and a chuckle from his end, I asked him if he had ever googled this phone number. This guy couldn't give me a straight answer.

I finally asked him, "Look, I've read about your company, including the online postings stating that this is a scam. I just want to know one thing from you: are you going to be asking me for money?" Again, several seconds of silence before I spoke again. He couldn't provide me with a yes or no, and became quite rude with me at my insistance to receive a yes or no from him. I finally hung up.

We all want to make it big. But you must keep in mind that no talent agency worth their salt will make outbound calls. You have to actually go and seek them out. It's a lot like looking for a job on monster.com. You can post your resume online, but if you don't actually search for jobs and apply for them directly, then the only people who will come across your resume are head hunters.

Got called from Jonathon Parker the creative director, stating my daughter was what they were looking for and urging me to sign her up. Googled Jonathon Parker and believe me the East Indian accent did not go with his picture. I wonder if Jonathon is aware the Explore talent agency is using his name. SCAM!!!!

After all that I read Iam very upset that this is going on. Iam not scared bec I did not submit any info other than a headshot and phone number. I will report this to the channel news immediatley and give them a call back to try and get to the bottom of this.

I received the same phone call today - and yes I had recently posted my children's pictures on the "cute kids" website.  That is the ONLY place they would have gotten anything on my kids.  Fortunately, my husband and I were professional actors for many years before joining the world of parents, so we knew enough basic "rules" to not be scammed.  Let me share them with you....NO RESPECTABLE, HONEST TALENT AGENCY WILL EVER CHARGE YOU A DIME UNLESS YOU GET A GIG AND ARE PAYED.  They will never charge you for classes, headshots, exposure, etc.  The ONLY REAL AGENTS in the industry will make money only if YOU make money - and THEY got you the job.  Also, don't EVER put your address or personal information on a headshot, resume, etc. in this industry.  You now have a picture with a pretty face, AND AN ADDRESS for someone to find, in someone's trash can?  Be safe.  If it seems too good to be true - it ALWAYS is, especially in this business.  Be safe....

i got a call earlier today from a guy named marvin stating that he was the creative director of explore talent. he said that some people like "my look" and that there were some auditions he wanted me to go to but that i had to pay so much money to upgrade my acount so that casting directors can view my website. i had my mom talk to the guy because i couldn't really understand what he was saying, it sounded like he was talking too close to the phone. well me and my mom were sceptical about it beings as we had to pay a bunch of money. so we looked it up on the internet and everything that i've seen so far confirms that it was a scam! but i didn't get a 1 800 number like the rest of you... weird.

A lady named Shirley called me and said my son was one of 10 out of 500 selected for this agency. They wanted me to give them my credit card over the phone so they could activate my profile and send me 20 auditions a month for my son. I was concerned because the phone line was breaking up and everyone I spoke to sounded like they were from India. I asked where they were located and they told me Hollywood! SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
