I had to borrow from Cashland and then someone got access to my bank account which I had to change.  I've been trying to make arrangements to pay them back, which I wasn't able to pay the original plan.  I tried to make weekly payments, but a woman named Danielle told me it was unacceptable, was VERY rude and condescending and I had to hang up on her when she started yelling at me.  I will continue to make my weekly payments but will not accept any of her phone calls.

hello, first off not all people go into a cash advanced with the thought of never paying them back, if you havent noticed our economy now sucks. The people on here can complain if they want to, its why you can leave a post. In case you havent heard alot of people have lost there jobs due to what is going on in our economy, so please before you degrade the people for taking out a cash advance try and see the other side of it for a moment or walk in their shoes for a day. Not everyone has intentions to borrow money and not pay back. Ive come to conclusion you must be a bill collector, eather that or you work for cash land lol. I do agree with one thing you have said though, that it does mess up peoples credit. Get your knowledge straight though its not an intentional" bad check" writing so no one will go to jail there hasn't been debtors prison in years. It is not all the younger generation eather by the way its generally everyone of every generation. Have a great day.

I got a call that said they were a collection agency and I needed to pay for an unpaid bill.   I have no unpaid bills...Called back, gort a voice messaging system that asked me for the last 4 digits of my social.   The person who originally left me a message on my phone did not speak clearly into the phone, It sounded like she said her name was Benefice????  and she slurred the extension number to ask for so badly, after listening to the voice message 6 times...I could still not make out the extension number!!!

You should have been responsible enough at 35 to pay your bill. I don't blame them for calling your parents. They were there for you when you needed the money and now you need to make them a priority and pay them =)

they called me, actually it was "bri", saying I took out a loan and now there's late fee's on it so now it's up to $300 something. I told her a few times they already took the loan back out of my bank. So i already paid them. She then got extremely rude and nasty. We argued about this for a few minutes until I finally decided to hang up. It's a [***] calling for debts on cash land loans. I already paid them!! stop calling me!!

Have YOU seen the world's smallest violin????  This is a pay day loan not going to kroger and writing a bad check. Completely different!  I Feel sorry for you that you think you know what you are talking about. You are giving out wrong info. Most of the people that take these loans have every intention of paying it back. You lend money to people and take checks to hold till pay day knowing full well the people are giving you a bad check because they have no money in their bank or they would not be there needing a loan. Besides it a loan which has nothing to do with bad checks anyway.  The checks are so if they cant pay you, you put it through anyway and cause overdrafts on their banks end and on yours. YOU took it knowing there was not any money. You took the risk. They sign a loan agreement you can not prosecute for bad checks. Its a civil matter and you have to take them to court and get a judgement against them and then ask for a judgement.  The fee's you charge are completely out of control because of some loop hole. The people most likely pay the loan back on time if it was for a normal interest rate instead of acting like loan sharks.  I cant wait till the government actually puts out of business preferably or makes it so you can not charge 300% interest.  You take advantage of people that are down and out and want to call them dead beats? Shut your mouth, you  and your kind are these worst dead beats I know of! Oh by the way nothing but a bankruptcy stays on your credit for 10 years. 7 yrs is the most. I work in the lending business and know the laws. So stop trying to scare people into thinking it's a bad check when it is not. I'm sure your one of those that get nice and fat off of this kind of lending, that is the only reason you made your ignorant statements. You don't like it YOU GET OUT OF THE BUSINESS and leave these people alone.
