I have been getting calls from these people for months now and like others on here... sometimes up to 30 times in a week. I actually spoke to not 1, not2, not 3 but 4 people ... all of whom had put me on hold when I started threstening lawsuit. I have written down then phone numbers they call from, and yes there are several.... and I am starting legal action with a company:

When I see these numbers that are obviously crooks and telemarketers, I answer with this: "Suck technology. We make the premier bull inseminator. Please leave a number to call back and we will get you lined up with the best [***] manipulator on the market."

Just letting you know that drs technologies is a defense contract company for the military.  They are in no way a collection agency.  1 of 2 things is happening.  1, they have gotten a number and was able to get the phone copmapny to use that name, or 2, they managed to havk into the phone system of the phone company and use their line.  Sounds like 1.  I would call the phone company as well as DRS technologies,  Use google to find number and let them know.  They will put a stop to it quickly.

I just got a new phone number and that when the calls started! I will not answere a call I do not know because I have dealth with collection agency to the point I have attempted to sue them but it hard to get an attorney to take the case without a retainer. I figured with the FDPA laws he sholudn't need a retainer but anyway it's still pending. My thoughts is to request a mortgage or insurance quote and list the 800-851-9631 as a contact number, stand back and see the fur fly! Once you ask for a quote they will not leave you alone.

Will not stop calling, two, three times a day. blocked them on my phone, but it still rings just one time. I try to call them to make a complaint and all I get is a run around with extensions and number codes that I do not have. Getting old, need to shut these people down.

I received 2 calls this morning on my cell  about half an hour apart. I did not answer because I don't answer numbers I don't recognize.  They left no message.

Looking for someone who does not live here. The Caller ID is spoofed with an incorrect Identification. Call blocked them using OOMA to give disconnected signal. I called back and the guy did not identify himself nor under specific request to identify the company and himself he said "just a minute" then hang up. Try to invest in the OOMA TELO system -I have used it for 3 yrs and NO Problems. They can call once and then I have them blocked. HaHA HA!!@! My phone is quite until they change calling numbers. The caller ID is DRS Technology which is shown as a defense contractor  LIARS THEY ARE. Likely scavenger debt collectors. They are actually Debt Recovery Solutions. Please file a complaint with the Federal Govt for violations of the Debt Collections Act a Federal Law.

Follow up: I found out who they are. DEBT RECOVERY SYSTEMS. 900 Merchants Concourse Suite LL-11, Westbury NY 11590. They also use another number  516-229-4802. All States have a Statute of Limitations. Which means a debt can't be collected beyond that time -some States are 5 yrs some 7 and 10 yrs. This is where you file a complaint with the Federal Government FTC-----   https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/#&panel1-1   You can send a "Drop Dead Letter"  to the company. A sample of it is on Clark Howard's website -call his number to get further info/listen to
his show or go online. He has people that can help you.

calls couple times per week and a recorded tap ask for Alexander, and then asks if you are not Alexander hang up

Their is no such thing as DRS.

These people call every day asking for someone who does not live here, has never lived here, and whom I do not know. I am sick of being bothered by them. They are trying to collect a debt from someone else. Surely, there's legal recourse against a company that harassed a person without a reason.

If I actually answer the phone when they call, they hang up!!  When I let them leave a message they are looking for someone that does not live here, so I tried to call them back and get a recording that the # is busy and I cannot leave a message.  How can I stop these calls?????

Same as what others have written. Repeated calls and "on behalf" of a debt collector. Run a tight ship but no unpaid or delinquent debt Going to block number. Annoying. Feel bad for the folks who believe this crap and give out identifying information only to be SCAMMED!

I got 7 calls from this number right in a row asking for someone who doesnt live here and said they're a collection agency. Also said not to let anyone listen to the call because it contained personal information, of which there was none. Clearly a scam.  This is why I got MagicJack so I dont have to deal with calls like this. Just goes into the system.

If no info is given by them, how it can be trusted. I might be a scam.
