They call my work at least once (sometimes more) a day & hang up as soon as someone answer the phones.  I called them back today & got a human on the phone & told them that this was a business # & they need to contact whoever they are trying get a hold of on their personal phone.  They said they'd removed the number...but we'll see!

I get the same call too...several times a day.  It's annoying.  I pay after my scheduled due date, but within the grace period.  Big banks can't stand it if their money isn't in their grubby hands on the due date.

They left a message saying our names and telling us to call back and they close at 857 pacific time

I have never had a US bank account nor have I ever borrowed any money through US bank. They keep calling me at least once a month, I do not want to borrow any money!

No I'm sorry, this is NOT US Bank.  I received about 4 calls today from this number and nobody was there when I answered.  They WANT you to call them back if you have caller ID.  When you call them back they sound exactly like the US Bank credit card line (which is actually "Cardmember Services" when you call the real bank and they don't say "US Bank" - clue #1)  but it's NOT them.  Instead of entering any account into I hit "0 #" (which DOES NOT work if it's an actual cardmember service line) and it forwarded me to a "representative".  This guy knew nothing.  I asked him what company he worked for, which branch he was with and where he was located.  It is Portland, but it's not US Bank.  I asked him why I would be getting a call from him and he claimed it was a "personal banking matter".  They called our company phone line not a home.  It's not a misdial...it's a scam.

caller called after 8pm. First thing they wanted was my Ssn. Assuring me it was bank business. I politely told them I would call my bank back tomorrow and hung up. I knew I was not behind on anything. It must be another scammer.

800-872-2625 Receive this call several times a day and have answered a few times and they want the last four of my social security number. I've gone into U.S. Bank twice this week and called the local branch to see if there was any issue with anything I had with that bank and they said no and that this phone number is not for US Bank. Just recently I received another call and asked the lady for her employee ID number,the actual address of where she was calling me from and I said I'm going to put you on hold while I call my local branch to verify if you were in employee ( since she stated in the conversation that with the employee number she gave me they could look up where she was located at and also verify that she was an actual U.S. Bank employee) after I put her on mute and used my other phone to call the branch  she hung up the phone.

This is NOT Usbank.  This number is close to the real one, but this is a SCAM phishing deal.  They are trying to get your info.

I called US Bank and they verified that the phone number is associated with US Bank.

i get calls from this number at least 4 times a day i'm contacting my lawyer next time i get a call from this peaople .

You reference 800-872-2525 as being an accurate number for US Bank, the number in question is 800-872-2625!

Have been calling my cell number for the past month. The thing is they are not calling for me. The message they leave asks for some man. When I try to call them to straighten things out, it's an automated call where you have to enter in account numbers. I don't even bank or have any cards through US Bank. It's bordering on harassment how many times these people call...

Us bank charges you interestablish every day after your due date during the grace period.

Called my own US Bank right after refusing to give my ssn to this #.  They said it was a scamming number.  All you have to remember is never to give ID info to someone who calls you.

The number kept calling my house but never left a message so when I was home and the number called and I answered it. She immediately said she was with US Bank and the phone call would monitored. She then asked me to verify the last 4 of my social. I told her absolutely not. I asked for a number to call US BANK and she gave me 1-800-872-2625. I googled it before I called it and thats when I found this post. Its pretty 50-50 on here whether it is a scam or not so I got onto my US BANK account to see if there was something up with my account. Apparently my payment I made the 1st of the month was reversed because I missed a digit on my account number when I input it. No one ever sent me a secure email or even called for 22 days. In my case it was legit but thats not to say that with todays technology that people cant use this number and pretend to be them.

Calls at least 4 times a day!!!
