Just got a call from Susan with the Verizon retirement group, regarding the next Verizon workshop. The call came in from 222-222-2222.
Their web site clearly states they have no affiliation with any of the companies, but her message states otherwise (misleading).
I realize everyone needs to make a living, and cold-calling is almost illegal today, but deceptive practices cannot be allowed by financial institutions.

voice message left on cell phone from caller id (222)222-2222, beginning of message seems cut off: "...ou can call me back at 800-900-5867. Oh yes!,  Susan with The Retirement Group, 800-900-5867. I just wanted to give you the details for the upcoming <insert employer name here> workshop.  Thanks, have a good day."
I filed a NO CALL LIST complaint at https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx -- also I would advise that you do not call them back!!

Same stuff. At least girl named Suan has a job now!

Just received a call from Mike with Retirement Group, and like some of the posters above mentioned my employer by name...AT&T....is he hitting the telecommunications companies?  Caller ID said Name Not Found and was 1 925-000-0000 but left this number as call back....on the blocked list he goes!

Apparently the name has now changed to Jessica, and she talks about an "AT&T Employee's meeting", then finally mentions The Retirement Group towards the end of the call.  They call my office number at least once a month and leave the same message.

July 2016...same scam calls still going.

My call came from "April" from the retirement group regarding a conference call for AT&T employees.  I don't work for AT&T.

I Received a call from this number from 'April' from 'The Retirement Group' just after 12 PM ET today and she just wanted to get me the details regarding an upcoming conference call this Friday (28OCT2016) for AT&T employees (which I'm not). She then asked if I could just dial in, then hesitated/faltered for a second, then stated to call her back at 800-900-5867 (the number I was called from) to get the call-in details.

I just got this number from Xfinity so I'm guessing that this may be a carry over from the previous owner of this landline (who may have been an AT&T employee or something). Anyway... Yea. Just figured I'd report on this because I've not seen either combination reported yet.

Received call from Tanja intended for active AT&T employees about changes in retirement policy. I have been retired form them for 20 years. I called them a few months ago, told them to take me off their calling list, but they didn't.

First part of my message cut off, female caller stating that she was calling for Northrop employees, I have not worked there in 31 years!  Scam for sure!

Online sales call - but they used a technique where they try to sound like part of your company and want to schedule a "meeting" to discuss some issue. They did not indicate a company, but were with some acronym that was intended to sound like a branch of the large corporation I work within.
These sales calls are getting more frequent. I also get calls where they leave a message that indicates I had requested a line of credit and that they have that all ready to go for me.
Block caller. Done.

Called me at work.  Voice mail, from an unidentified guy, talking about getting back to me about a supposed upcoming conference call, and will be going over some important changes, to call them back at their office "800" number, and he will get that information out to me, and that he is looking forward to hearing from me....the caller did not give his name, or organization that he was calling from....an obvious scammer.

Got a voicemail at work from "Lance," who said that he "wants to get info out to me about a conference call on Friday, and that he is from Security."
Totally bogus, but it was a good try, I guess.

I  received a call/message from Maryann @ 281 869 3004 about going over retirement pension and 401K plans. Please return the call to 800 900 5867. I did not call back

Voicemail was left on my cellphone from this number and it was from Lance at the retirement group informing me about AT&T 's new changes

Received a call from this number Ray was the man who I spoke with from the Retirement Group he just wanted to invite me to a seminar for Verizon employees

Lance from the retirement group left a voicemail on my work phone in regards to a seminar they were having for North Grumman employees

Not a bad call just a company for retirement planning

Got a call from Maryann on my home phone inviting me to a conference for Verizon employees
