This company is nothing but a Scam please do not give them any of your information.  They called me stating that I was being sued for a dept with my credit card company.  The guy was very rude and in 2011 these bill collectors are not usually rude. I hung up and called my credit card company and the knew nothing about me being in collections and being sueded.  SMH

My experience with NRC was a pleasant one. After i received a message from them, i called them back regarding a Jefferson Capital Account that i previously had, and honestly had forgotten about it. So i contacted them and ended up speaking with a manager by the name of Leonard Jamison. He was very perfessional, very polite, and understanding after i explained to him that i had forgotten the bill, but want to make good on it. So he explained my consumer rights to me ,and at the end suggested options i could use to finally get rid of this debt. So what i suggest to anyone, is not to avoid the calls, simply face up to them so that you can get it behind you sooner. if you can't get anywhere with the collector, then asked to speak with their supervisor and work out some arrangements.

I don't know what the last poster is trying to say but his post couldn't  be further from the truth. I was contacted by this outfit for 5 months on a debt I didn't even have or owe. I have never been late on payments on any of my loans. I was contacted all the time at my job and home when I spicifiicly told them to cease and desist. Don't give this outfit ur banking info. Make them send u proof of the debt in writing. Record calls were legal and get urself an attorney that practices in FDCPA law. Each violation will net u 1000 dollars and they must pay ur legal fees and costs. May I also say this outfit was in the Atlanta news for one of its collectors impersonating a police officer wearing a uniform and a gun. for witch he was attested! Google this story. Are u serious!

The pleasant experience was probably posted by someone who work for NRC.  Believe me that are not understanding or pleasant.  If they continue to bother you...you have a right to sue them.

I have been getting a bunch of calls that are open"unlisted"  but today someone left a message to call back at this same exact number. I too was worried because they are calling from an attorneys office. Guess its their New ploy to get people to call them back. Thank you so much for your posts!

I received a phone call from a Jeff Ray who works for Nations Recovery Center Inc, 491 Peachtree Industrial Blvd., Atlanta, GA 30360 MAIN PHONE: 770-234-010. He had a legal matter File # for my EX mother in law. I have been divorced for over 10 years. I googled 800-935-1139 phone number and found this to be a scam, with hundreds of complaints against NRC. They are an elderly couple. Please respect a dying women privacy and leave her family alone.

my neighbor got 4 calls about me then she gave me the info. NRC  called a person named Eva Dawson at 1 800 935 1139 ext 2218. she had a document number and my personal info. she had me crying on the phone. then i looked it up and found out it was a scam.

why cant we reverse look up this number to get an answer to who it is

    Got a msgs this morning n saying that i have to call them asap regarding the debt that i owed. I dont know this people. So i did search what company are they belong, but got the info that a lot of people are already complaining about them. So now  i wont bother about them.

Please file the complaints with the State Attorney General Office....They will help you and you are helping the others that are getting violated.  Thank you. There's an easy several thousand dollars to be made for you here by complaining to them and if you do not need the money then donate it!

If it isn't this 1-800-935-1139 calling with threat, it is some middle Eastern guy calling wanting me to let him into my computer to check it out for free.(no way!) I hope people are not falling for these scam calls. I have excellent credit and there is NO reason for a debt collector to be calling my home.

Just got a call asking for me (I always screen my calls) I asked who was calling and he said Mr. Moore.  I said let me take a message and he gave me the number and extension to call. Then I asked, may I ask what this is in regards too?  He said " She knows" bah ha ha ha ha

I get the middle Eastern guy and I scream in his ear, its a scam and I'm not stupid, and He should be ashamed of scamming innocent people that way. Then I hang up, I sure do miss being able to slam the phone down in their ear. lol

I think this call is bogus and they left no information but a telephone number and a badly garbled company name.
