Don't know who it is from. Sounds very suspicious.

Who is it?

Claimed to be from Fraud Early Warning.  Wanted my wife's name first, when I Asked who he was he said he needed to verufy my mastercard account to see if fraudulent transactions were being made.  I don't have a mastercard, so I told him to kiss my A##.

got a call from the same number and they said they are calling from citibank fraud prevention department. i said i dont have citibank card, they wanted my phone no and my social security no to verify... i said i can give them my social security no...then they said call the number on your city bank card.. which i dont have.. i m confused now..

I received a call that showed to be from 904-954-7500 and they left me a message saying it was for my Citi Mastercard and gave the 800-955-5172 # to call back. I do have such a card and since that was different than the # on the back of my card, I called the # on my card and confirmed it was a valid call from Citi.

called my wife.  said they were citibank early fraud warning.  We did not respond and looked up this number on reverse number look up

I received a letter from Citi stating that I need to call regarding possible fraudulent use of my card.  I don't have a card with them so I looked up their number on the internet and found this site.  Obviously this is a SCAM.

Got a letter from Citibank early warning 800-955-5172 to call about suspicious activity.  Started to call it bc I do have a card, then got nervous that it was a scam.  I looked at back of my credit card and it was a different number so I googled the number and found this site.  Glad I looked it up!

SCAM. I notified Citibank and their fraud department is looking into it. I was able to determine they are Filipino. Other number they use 1 800 825 0393

yesterday I received 3 letters dated september 11, 12, 13 about suspicious activity on mastercard. Early warnings. I don't have a mastercard.

This number appears on scam email letters.  These folks are still at it with "ExxonMobil/Citibank" Fraud Alert scam.

Recieved letter June 07, 2017. To: "request to confirm account activity"; because they are concerned about potentially suspicious activity on my citi double cash master card account. They want to protect me. I was just apprpvef for an acct & have my card here with me.  I HAVE NOT ACTIVATED IT YET SO I DO NOT HAVE ANT ACTIVITY??????? They even quoted my acct. number ending in #5943. Is this number they want me to call legitimate?

Got a letter from some PO Box 6493 asking to confirm account activity by calling the number 1800 955 5172. Strange is that i just opened the account and have yet to recieve the card. Good that i google and found this site.

Also got a letter with this number on it. Called the number and they immediately started asking for my ssan. Scam.

it is a Citi American Advantage Mastercard customer service line for fraud activity. I called another Citi line to verify the number.

Same suspicious call as others reported. Actual caller ID showed 210-677-1346

Got a letter asking me to call.  I did.  I stopped when it asked for my credit card #.  The number on the back of my card is different.  So I googled, and here I am.
