FRAUD Got a called saying my debit card was on hold -- I found this unlikley and hung up -- (my phone showed the UT location as origin, and I am in SoCal.  Why hasn't this been shut down?

Bank of America legit number has long wait time -- no doubt due to this...

Called but I didn't answer.  They did not leave a message.

Who is calling me from this number I don't know

Called and said my card had a hold. Pressed one. The first thing the computer voice asked for was ALL 9 digits of my SSN . That is when I knew it was an attempt to steal my identity.

Bank of America SCAM! Phishing for financial information.

I don't have a Bank of America card, so I did press 1 and proceeded to enter a fake number. No matter the number entered however, it simply requested the number again and again.

Complete scam. Cannot call number back, and directly asked for card number to an account I don't have. I would LOVE to talk to whoever owned the number and have a shouting contest.

It's a phone dialer. Many of the messages in the menu aren't even programmed yet. You can tell because when you press certain numbers it chimes back with, "Message 23" or "Message 8A" like a place holder.

This number robo-called, said my Bank of America debit card was locked and asked me to enter the full card number.  I hung up and called Bank of America customer service.  Unfortunately, the call came in at 10:45PM PST and the customer service center was closed. I am fairly certain the card is secure as the auto-attendant at BofA said this is the first time I called to inquire and based upon previous posts, still, I will recheck in morning.

Missed a call from this number.  Called back, busy signal.  Googled and found this thread...  Have to say, glad I didn't pick up.  Likely a scam.

Just got the same call to my cell, but the phone was in the other room so missed it.  They should know better than to call at 7:30 in the morning on a Saturday.

Did not answer as not # I know!!

Better yet, I got the call this morning at 1:19AM... so annoying..

Called said that I needed to reactivate my debit card from Bank of America! Sounded fishy so I check the internet and I found these others reports.

This number just called my cell phone. 8013968280 showed up behind the numbers 7771.  Lucky I don't answer any calls on cell phone from numbers I don't know.  This one was very tricky.

Only 10 seconds of message, account locked press 1to ...I was half asleep and didn't answer the call. I don't know anyone in Utah!

Bank of America debit card is locked. select 1 to talk.  THIS IS PHISHING CALL.  Verified with BofA.  Filed complaints with National Do Not Call List as well as robo call.  

I just called Bank of America they said that is SCAM . dont answer the call

This number called me as well. Said B of A card is locked and press 1 to unlock. I don't have an account, but pressed 1 and it disconnected. SCAM.

Got call from this number and it was a recording which said it was from Bank of America and my credit card was locked and press 1 for security dept. I hung up and called right back, no one was there and changed to busy tone

Called me telling me to "input my bank of America card number to reactivate my card that had been deactivated." Riiiiiiiiiight.

Fraudulent message saying my B of A card was locked and asking me to press 1 to follow procedure to unlock.
