I have been receiving calls from this # claiming to be B of A.....all false...calling cell phones with garbled message

A Recording said This is Bank of America, Your debit card has been Locked, to unlock Press1.

We do not have an Account with Bank of America.

Got a call from this 801 area code number, noticed it was from Utah and since I do not know anyone in Utah I did not answer, scam all the way. Left no message, after reading others posts I am happy I did not answer.  Heck I have not had a B of A acct. for over 40 yrs....

I also got a robo call saying my B of A debit card has been lost and to enter a number and I would be transferred to security.  I hung up and called my bank.  The bank said this is a scam.  I gave them the number and hope they can somehow have them investigated.  Watch out!!

This number called me supposedly from Bank of America. It is MIDNIGHT.  Obviously fraud, they were just trying to get my credit card info. As soon as they said "Press 1", Hung up.

Called me at 1am and I almost started to believe the recording bc I just answered and is playing that bullcrap

Called at 1 am.. didnt answer, no message left.

Missed a call from this #, no voice mail,  call was at 12:15 AM!!!!

Got a call from  801-396-8280 Springfield  UT  between 7 and 8 am this morning did not answer it Stopped ringing before the machine could answer it. Checked the internet. The caller had asked others for credit card  and Social Security numbers. Have caller ID with call blocking. Put the number on the reject list.

Got a call from this 8013968280 did not pick up.

also  got a call from this number saying my B of A card has been reported lost and to press 1 to reactivate it. I called Bank of America and my card was not reported lost. Glad I hung up on this call

I just got the robot caller saying my master card was lost.  

Got called from (801) 396-8280. Here is the super annoying part, it's 3AM in the morning!!! I was too asleep to catch who the recording said it was, but I caught the words "banking" and it also said, "one of your credit cards has been locked, to unlock press 1". I have USAA and Black Hills FCU, I highly doubt either of these banks would call me at this odd hour to tell me my that one of my credit cards has been locked because it has happened to me before for real when I have forgotten to tell my banks that I am leaving my state for a trip and if your credit card is locked, you won't be able to use it the next time you try to buy something and you have to contact the bank yourself, the bank does not contact you, they just make it to where your card doesn't work for your protection in cars of theft. I have never had a bank go out of their way to call me for such a thing. I'm sure this number is a scam, so I just hung up. But now I've lost the rest of my nights sleep on it, so I'm pretty irritated right now. What a waste of my and other people's time. I hope this jerk gets caught!

I do not want to call back, because other people have commented and they suspect fraud.

My dingbat husband fell for this crap and actually gave our debit card number, verification and last 4 digits of SSN. Now having to cancel card. WHAT the HECK was HE THINKING.......oh wait he WASN'T!! OMG

It looks like they are going for Northern California now as I received this call today.  I do not answer ANY number I do not recognize, and if its a friend or someone else who Really wants to get in touch with me they will leave a message.

Just got the call in SoCal at 3:30pm. Didn't answer... I don't know anyone from Utah.

Phishing scam supposedly from Bank of America. They want your social security number in order to unlock your debit card.
