Did'nt say anything when I took the call. Hung up after about 30 secs or so, maybe because I pressed a button and they thought I am upto something tracking them, perhaps?

They called my cell around 4:16pm 9-26-08 I didn't know the number so I didn't answer they never left a message.

what can you do about it ? im gettimg the same calls.

I had several calls appear on my Caller ID in the last few days from 801-623-4631.  I was finally home tonight to take the call.  The caller identified himself and said he was with Western Wats (http://www.westernwats.com) conducting a survey regarding the recent call I placed to XM Satellite Radio's customer service department.  He also stated it was only a survey, and that he was not selling anything.  The call was legit.  FYI: Western Wats maintain their own internal Do Not Call list if you don't want to be contacted by them.  Go to:  http://westernwats.com/take_a_survey.htm

I get the call, and then they hang up. The ID caller informs Provd, Ut.

been getting calls from this number for the past few days...nobody ever says anything...sometimes they hang up...sometimes i hear a beep like somebody pushed a number/button on the other end...and no i don't live anywhere close the midwest...i live in hawaii!?

Answered the call and it was a survey about a coal plant in western Kansas. Did I approve of the governor's veto, questions about coal vs nuclear vs renewables yada yada

Keep getting calls. No person or machine talks when I answer, just silence. I phoned them back because I understand that you can request to have your number removed from their lists, and a human is supposed to answer. That doesn't happen, it's just a recording describing their survey and inviting you to take it.

Called once last night, didnt answer, no message.  Called me again this afternoon, I didnt answer again, they left no message.  
These just started for me, I hope they dont start bugging me!  
My number is a cell, but its on the internet with a company.. Maybe thats how they are getting the numbers??

Pretending to take a survey for the Providence Journal in Rhode Island.   Unprofessional man spoke while eatting something.  I hung up, he called back.  I yelled at him not to call again.  Our number is private and nobody calls unless I give them the number.  They knew our name.  This is too freaky!  Beware!

i didnt answer but they left a voicemail, it was no talking and then disconnected after a few seconds.

This is the first time I have received a call. I let my answer machine get it and a womans voice says " Hello, I'd like to speak to the head of household.  This is not a sales call.  Is anyone on the line."  If she would of listened to voicemail greeting she could have answered that for herself.

They keep calling and it's dead silence.  If it's a prank, it's a boring one.

Keep getting Hang Up calls from this number -- do NOT leave message -- just keep calling and calling and calling etc etc etc. Wish I had THEIR home phone number -- then PAYBACK TIME !!!!!!!! It takes a REAL PERSON to go out and get a REAL JOB -- too bad they cannot fill that job !!!!!!

I just got a cellphone from T-Mobile.  1-801-623-4631 is calling often. Anyway to stop these scoundrels from Utah? Thanks

I sent an e-mail to contact@westernwats.com. They (Carli Scott at 7:30 AM utah time) replied asking me to provide the number and it will be added to their internal do not call list. We sill see as the response to my e-mail was very fast.
