- Opal3 rings.. answered.. no voice on the other end. We live in the middle of nowhere.. Nearest traffic light is 10 miles away. We don't have a kinkos and have not been to a fed ex office in years. I actually don't mind political surveys - they usually end up hanging up on me.
- JaneThis number called our house at 8:52pm. Said they were Target and wanted to speak to my daughter. I told them not to call back. The number showed up Vermont on the caller id.
- LauraThey have called three times in the last hour! Very annoying.
- Caller: 8018232033
- christopher replies to Dillonwhen i answered no one was speaking at first i was paranoid i thought it was the devil u know ogden? Its supposed to be a satanist right? but then the line disconnected so i looked at the recent calls list and it said ut l0l utah :}
- BDLCReceived call from this number on my cellphone today. Didn't answer. Used the "call block" feature on my Blackberry to prevent them from calling me again.
- Caller: Unknown
- pic1asso| 1 replyYou people complaining about these calls are amazing – and not in a good way. If you have Caller ID, and you don't recognize the phone number, why are you calling that number back? You're simply confirming to those [***] that your phone number is legit! They can take that now confirmed, working phone of yours and use it in so many ways, it'll make your head spin. Everything from getting credit cards (in your name, of course) to getting and defaulting on loans (also in your name).
Where else are they getting information about you? From those surveys that claim to reward you a “free” laptop or some other “free” doodad that'll end up costing you more money in the long run because of the crappy quality of the “free” whatever. You don't even have to finish the survey to give these [***] what they want – the teeniest bit of information about you. If you don't want the calls, don't fill out the surveys. It's as simple as that. I keep saying that there're “free lunches” anymore.
So you say that you put your name on the national DO NOT CALL LIST. Well, bully for you! That would take care of about 2% of your harassment calls, if that. These [***] who keep calling, though, don't play by ANY rules except their own. The best thing to do is for YOU to be vigilant about who calls you and make use of your phone company's BLOCKED CALLER LIST. You may complain about it being an extra expense you can't afford. Well, that's up to you. If you don't block them in some way, then you deserve to get those harassing calls. Don't sit back and depend on a national DO NOT CALL LIST to end those calls. If your phone company doesn't offer a BLOCKED CALLER LIST, find one who does. I think it's a small price to pay for not hearing about some new way to separate me from my money or lower my credit score.
If you're one of those people who feels they have to answer every single phone call, train yourself not to. You won't hurt a telemarketer's feelings by not answering, trust me. THESE [***] DON'T HAVE FEELINGS. They don't care if you're a soccer mom hauling around a van load of kids or CEO of your company. They just want your money or information about you and they'll do whatever to get it. Not every phone call is so earth shatteringly important that you have to answer it!
Lastly, my question is why post a message to those [***] here that says, “Stop calling me!”? That does absolutely no good whatsoever. Are you people really THAT naïve to think posting a message to stop calling you is going to end the harassing phone calls? Think about it.Y6M3 - DANused fedex yesterday, missed this call today. Based on other comments, I have to assume that is what this is.
- ph replies to ROKThis is a TOTAL SCAM or TRAP. I haven't visited a KINKOS and neither has my friend.
- BuddySick and tired of these stupid calls! People say to e-mail or call to opt out. Well we shouldn't have to do that, calling people 20 times a week is harassment and it needs to stop!
- Kroman replies to pic1assoAll bow down to the Almighty King of ignoring telemarketers. I bow in the presense of greatness.
- TJGot a call on my cell in Memphis, TN. No FedEx usage. Didn't answer but ticks me off still.
- ticked offHave been getting calls from this number for several weeks. Several times a day, no one there. My husband has answered as well, someone always talks to him and alway asks if he has had a recent hospital stay. He tells them no one in the family has been in a hospital for years and to quit calling - to no avail.
So... here is how to be be put on their no-call list (I hope). Call 801-373-7735 - you will get an automated response, and you can leave your number. Hope it works.
They call from Odem, Utah, so you could also complain about them to the BBB in Utah. Don't know it that would do any good. You wouldn't think they are very efficient, with all the calls made with no one on the other end when you answer. Or, to keep calling and calling after you tell them their questions do not apply to you.- Caller: they dont identify themselves
- Call type: Survey
- Hannahreceived a call from this number today -- googled it and found this website. I did have some items printed from Kinkos a couple days ago. Didn't pick up the phone call so can't confirm who it was, but sounds like all these other reports
- LeeI haven't used FedEx and have never been to a kinkos, so they wouldn't have a reason to as me about my recent experience. What a pain to have these unwanted calls come in.
- Caller: 801-823-2033
- Annoyed| 1 replyI've received two calls from this number in the last week, no message left. Unlike some other people on here, I have not used FedEx or Kinkos ever, so no connection...
- Diana H. replies to AnnoyedI got a meesage from 801-823-2033 and a Ms. Lopez from JD Powers and Associates wants the adult of the house to call them back. I looked up that company and JD Powers deals with recent automotive sales. I DO NOT fall into this category.
It has been awhile (6 months or so) since these scammers have bothered me. I look up any unknown phone number now and screen every one of them. How sad it has come to this. - Don JuanGot a call from them last night at 10:44 PM and woke me up. They called 6 times before that. Never answered any of them. I wish they would either stop calling or leave a message.
- osteoncMy recently widowed 86 yr old mother got a call from this number around 5:30 p.m. The man on the phone identified himself as being from Bank Trust and said because he realized she had recently done a lot of banking with them, he just wanted to ask her some questions. She refused and he hung up.
- Caller: Sadi "Bank Trust"
- LuckyDaily I keep getting this crap....this has got to stop. I am fed up with all this junk spam calls.
- Caller: Opinionology
- Call type: Telemarketer
- jlThese phone banks are all the same, they call more numbers than they have people to handle. That's why when you answer no one is there and if someone doesn't get free they break the connection. When that happens, when they do answer I let them know what I think about them. I have nothing to do with people who show such disrespect, they think your time means nothing and their time everything.
