    It is Discover Financial.  I applied for a loan through them.  This is them calling back.  They also left a voice message.  The number they leave for you to call back is different from this because they give you an 800# to call back on.

    This is Discover Financial Services, which includes their credit card, student loan, and personal loan divisions. They were calling to follow up on a loan application. The letter I got from them indicates they open at 8am EST during the work week, so the writer who said he doubted their veracity because of the hours is mistaken. This appears to be legit.

    This is not Discover as I talked to Discover's Fraud dept. and they did not call me and stated that this is not there number and there were no questions about any charges. They also told me to call back on 800-762-3051 not the number they called from 8019027000. They called both my work and my personal cell.  This is a scam and hope no one gave any information to them
