This number is on my phone at least--minimum--10 times a day. I have picked up and noone says anything..One time I answered and a dude said he was calling from Cap One  was trying to get me to give him my account #, last 4 of my social and even my birthdate. I told him I did not feel comfortable giving out this information and if he was in fact calling from Capital ONE, that I would call them directly and I hung up. They still call daily..so aggrevating.

Annoying… Linda recording - she sounds like a sumo wrestler that smokes (no joke).  She calls 15 times a day (literally).  I'm only 5 days late (due to being laid off) - very first time I've been late EVER with them.  I even told them the payment was being sent in to them in a few days….  Not a good way to keep a customer…   Capital One calls from 804-217-7156 and 866-929-5306 and 866-381-0453 and 813-274-1837 (all the same recording with a Linda name)

They are calling my cell ph that I've had for a yr. Usually no one there. Sometimes blasting Spanish at me that I don't understand. Then today finally a machine is there, and asked for a name that I recognize, because humans called from the bank months ago, and explained that this number used to be owned by that woman. They told me they couldn't tell me she was a deadbeat, but they sure implied it.

I explained it was my number now, and they apologized, but apparently they didn't remove the number from their list. I am getting tons of calls from 866 area code numbers which this website says is from the same bank. Same M.O.

They are harassing the wrong person!  What can I do?

So I called the lawyer with the posting trolling for the class action suit, and they want me to go thru all my celephone bills, collate all the different numbers capital one is using to call me, list all the calls from each number,
AND THEN calculate damages based on my unlimited calling plan.  Which is none!  WTF???  Which is the worse waste of time???

respond in writing and let them know you will take legal action if they fail to comply with the law :)

Capital One calls and wants to discuss my business with them. I don't have a business maybe they want to talk some other kind of business. ;0

And leave no message. I am paying off a balance and have spoken to capital one. Ive gotten calls from linda up to 10 times in one day. And i just recieved a call at almost 9pm. Linda seems to call EVERYONE. If it really is capital one, they are striding the line with harassment. Getting calls before 8am and after 8pm is still illegal. If you people need to contact me, i answer my emails from you all at Capital One.

Pay your bill to them and they will cease calling you.  They just want you to pay what you spent on your card.

I  Called Capital One's Fraud Department  and they did verify  that  the number actually  belongs to Capital One. So they have some  stinking  policies,  I  had no business With  Them  for 6 years and when I  left them  I  paid off all  my  debt to them. Sick and tired of the calls,

Just  Did a  reverse Lookup  and   here  is  the  search  http://www.whitepages.com/phone/1-804-217-7156?site_id=15277  Comes up as  a Capital one  phone  in  Richmond  Virginia

I just got a new cell phone governement assited phone and activated it today I had 3 hang up calls from

804-217-7156 I havent given this number to a single person

These people keep calling me at 5am!!!

I called Capital One about this "Linda" that keeps calling my phone. I gave the rep the number and he confirmed it is scam and not Capital One.

They have been calling night and day for two weeks.  I have not had a card through Capital One for many years and have no idea why they keep calling.  They call at 6am, 11pm, etc.  This is crazy.
