I didn't pick up!

Getting these calls every couple of weeks for the past few months. UGH.Why don't they just go away. What do they want anyway? Tried googling it and found this.

I just got a call from them on my cell phone with the DVR/HBO offer.  I pressed 1 and got connected to a human.  When I asked him why he was calling my cell phone, he instantly hung up on me.  I called the registered agent mentioned in a prior post here and talked to a polite man who said he was "only the registered agent" but would transfer me to his supervisor.  After a long hold he came back on and told me he was transfering me to Jessica in Sacramento.  She was very polite and said she would have to talk to *her* supervisor about it but he was out and she would get back to me.  We'll see.  In the meantime I'm filing a complaint with the FTC.  This has to stop.

Just got a call from this number on my cell.  Ignored it.

The only place I've posted my cell number online is on Monster and Dice.

This number called me at my cell phone at least a dozen time, claiming that my car warranty is expired and ask me to renew it .  When I told the representative to remove me from the calling list, they just hang up. When I call back, it is a dead number. Why can't they be put away. They woke me up early in the morning, very very very very very annoying!!

The message said something about driving without a warranty and that they will close the file if I don't respond.

They've called me twice already! It's always about 12:30ish and it's coming from somewhere in california apparrently, and obviously (from the other 13 pages) I'm glad I haven't picked up, lolz.

And I just called it back, ITS OUT OF SERVICE?!?

its from a service called IP Relay
an AIM service created for the blind/deaf but teenager use it for prank calls.
whatever you type, the person says to who ever is on the phone line.

Have gotten numerous calls from these people telling me my vehicle warranty expired. Odd, since I don't have a car. They leave voicemails. Finally I answered and tried to connect to a "representative". Went like:

REP: Hi, would you like more information about our warranty plans?
ME: No, just take me off your call list.

And that's when she hung up on me. Scaaaaaaam.

I ahve had several calls from this bumber.  My cell will not allow me to accept call.  I also googled and found Jesse Cacciatore from CA as the name and number.  No message is ever left.

this number is constantly f-ing calling me and I purposleygot a new phone number for this reason. Two weeks later thy are now xallin me on my new phone. Number and I am f-ing fed up wiry this [***]. I have mo idea how they always get my number I do not give it out to random companys or anything. This needs to stop. I am going to go nuts if this keeps happening on my brand new iPhone.

I just submitted this to the BBB today on bbb.com.  I am not sure if I picked the right company, but I asked the representative on the phone for the name and he said "Warranty Services".  I asked for the headquarters city and he said "Phoneix, AX".  There is one in Scottsdale, AZ w/ the same name, so I went with that one.  Here is the message I submitted incase anyone else is interested in submitting a similar message:


This company has contacted me several times from phone number (805) 985-4838.  The company claims to be an aftermarket warranty company for a vehicle which I leased and turned in several years ago.  The representative does not have any vehicle specific information, besides the manufacturer and model, which was likely obtained from a public record such as a lien or other notice of interest.  I spoke with a 'manager' who explained to me that I needed to deal with him because it is illegal for the vehicle manufacturer to provide me with an extended warranty, rather I had to use this aftermarket 'third-party' type warranty.  Having a legal background I continued to push back on his claims, and quickly realized that this entire company is either intentionally defrauding the public, or the poor workers who are hired legitimately believe these claims, and are working for a fraudulent ownership/management.  I feel it is in the public's best interest to be aware of this organization and for the BBB or other government agency to investigate the use of personal information that this company many have obtained from consumers.  One additional note; I Googled the phone number to see if I could obtain any further background information, and it appears that I am not the only one with similar complaints.  This site has over 13 pages of complaints on the same company:  https://whocallsme.com/Phone-Number.aspx/8059854838/3 .  The search results revealed numerous similar sites.
