Unknown number so I did not answer, they left a message- sounded like a recording- saying I need to act now to renew the warranty on my car.  Umm not possible.  Not sure wtf that was about, they didn't leave a company name or anything either.

Yesterday, I did convert my 2nd line into a Fax line, so OLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!! They just called me.

We have gotten unsolicited calls about automobile warranties on two of our cell phones. This is the first number we've logged. Here are a couple of interesting links:

More information about Allied American: Seems there is a fellow named Erick Matute who is involved. Has pages on both Facebook and MySpace. Mr. Matute is also involved in something like payday lending for businesses which take credit cards (makes loans based on anticipated payments from Visa and MasterCard).

Putting your phone on the do not call list. You can file complaints here once your number has been on the list for a month. Cell phones are supposed to be banned from unsolicited telemarketing anyway, but can't hurt:

This was a recorded solicitation for a vehicle extended warranty.  The recording says you can enter 2 to be removed from the list, but they don't actually remove you.  I got a person on the line (I don't recommend this) so that I could confirm that I would be taken off the list.  The person was very obstinate, repeating questions about my vehicle and not acknowledging that I was speaking.  This is undoubtedly some kind of scam, but I do not know what.

Hmm... Reading the above makes me glad I generally don't answer the phone if I don't recognise the number.

I got this call on my cell phone and I just so happened to be eating dinner.
I hate when people call from weird numbers and don't leave messeges.
Yeah, I just checked my caller ID and I got two calls.
One at about 11 this morning and what at about 7.
I googled it and I guess tons of other people have received this call.

The reverse lookup feature at anywho.com shows this number registered to Cacciatore, Jesse, 2572 Spinnaker Ave, Port Hueneme, CA 93041.

Recorded solicitation for a satellite system installation.  They called my unlisted cell phone number. (Makes me so angry!) I played along and pressed one to "schedule an install" and got a live person...when I said I was upset they had called my cell phone, they hung up on me.  When I called the number back, it rings busy.  Somebody please, please do something about this jerk!

Both of my cell phones were called, within 5 minutes of each other, about three hours ago.  Glad I missed the calls!

Just called me again for the second time. I love getting these calls. I just play along and waste as much of their time as possible.

Try discussing the weather, they love that. LOL.

I got a call from these people a couple of days ago and for the first time I actually listened to the whole message.  Towards the end it says, if you want to be removed from this list press..., whatever number it was.  So I did.  They just called me again with this 805 number.  I tried to call back, but it was busy.  Lucky for those who actually got to talk to someone.  If I could I would have cussed them out.  Im so tired of these calls.

Calling my new IPhone - running up my minutes.  I normally answer every call, as I am in the process of changing jobs and get called from time to time by people who got my resume from another person - don't want to miss any potential job offers.  However, I saved this number as "Scam Artist", and set the ringer to "Alarm", so now I know not to answer it.  He has called me twice since I got this phone last month.

asked if I wanted sattlelite tv, choose option for more info, male answered phone, and I asked to be taken off call list abruptly hung up on me

just got a call from this # I did not answer. if I dont know who it is I let my voice mail take the call. they left no message but it's the same old thing again. my advice is, if you dont know the number dont answer or just let it go to the voice mail or just disconnect the call.
