They took about 10 pounds! It's really not fair. I swear, someone should send them to court.

I had the same problem last November and December with this 80810 number. I reported them to my phone company and they stopped the text for me and gave me a website www.phonepayplus.org.uk to report the number and attempt to reclaim my money. In October 2009 I received a letter from them stating that the owners of gamer-data.co.uk had unlawfully sent high cost texts to customers and were taken to court and lost. I have now sucessfully reclaimed all my money thanks to Phonepay Plus! The same company also operate with another text code 62323. You can reclaim even if you have a pay as you go phone.

i was looking online for cheats when i thought i had found the cheat i was looking for, and all i had to do is text this number to get it. then i recieved a text saying to text back and i could subscribe to recieve cheats on a regular basis for £4.00 a week i did not reply to this text as i knew it was a con but still they sent me messages and it took me two months before i realised that they we're charging me a small fortune for it. in my eyes this is daylight robery and must be illegall i would like to know how it is that these a** holes are still able to get away with this and how i can go about bringing them to justice?

I thought it was free but it turns out it's costing me £2 FOR EACH TEXT I RECEIVE!!!!

I have been in touch with my mobile phone provider this morning and and been tole to text STOP to the sender.  I have done this and got an instant reply (free!) confirming cancellation and will not get any further alerts.  The company are gamer-data.co.uk and the helpline is 08082342041.  Hope this helps other victims of this rip-off!!

I found the solution, send STOP to that number and it'll send you a text back saying: "u are no longer subscribed to gamer-data.co.uk. You will no longer receive any messages or charges"

So you won't need to change your number or anything.

text STOP to 80810 in capitals and they take u of the list and will stop sending out massages and charging u two pounds each time.

i have been reciving 25 texts a month for 6 months and they have had over 120 pounds off me !!!

ive just had £10 go in last 2 days text stop hopefully thats the end of it.
I never joined site or anything , now have to check kids phones how do i go about getting money back.

Just noticed that for the last 3 months my bill has been charged over £13 A MONTH from this number!!!!!  Who the hell is it???
