    I have the same problem in that my son signed up for a cheats text which said it was free and it is taking £2 each time they send a text. He now has no money on his phone and there seems to be no way of getting to anyone to cancel it

    It's been happening to me too. Just reply 'stop' back to them and they stop the texts and the charges ;)

    Have just sent an e mail to the address provided by Nelly and got this reply so have to NOW text these pests who have taken huge amounts of money from my 11yr old son!!! and will be charged for the privilege of canceling to boot.........these are predators !!!

    Gamer Data provides a service consisting of mobile text-message alerts and supporting web portals associated with Video Games, and Video Game cheat codes.  The fee for this service is either £10.00 a month or £2 every four days.  The service we provide is not for ringtones or any games downloaded over the phone, and does not require internet access on your phone.

    If you would like to cancel the text alert service to your phone this can be done immediately through your phone at any time by texting the word STOP to short code 62323.
    Sending a STOP text will immediately stop all further texts and charges from being sent to your phone.  (With the possible exception of one final text confirming the service has been unsubscribed)

    The fee for the service is £10.00 a month or £2 every four days.  This fee would have been billed to you upon activation of the membership.  Membership begins immediately when the passcode that was sent via text to your given mobile phone number is entered back into the website or when the word "JOIN" is texted from your mobile phone.  Once the passcode is successfully entered into the website or the "JOIN" text is received, full access to the service and the website is granted and the subscription fee is applied of either £10 or £2.

    This number is CylonCorpUSA Gamer-data (Cheats for ps3 games etc).

    I had a hugh phone bill and checked with orange. They have told me to text STOP and see what happens.

    I text STOP and they have sent a text back saying No Longer Subscribed.

    Every message thay send to your phone cost £2.00.

    My son looked for a one-off cheat and didn't know that that they would send unrequested texts to rob my PAYG credit at £2 a time. Didn't notice 'til I got an unlimited text package and sussed that the credit was still going down!!! finally checked with Orange, who identified the scammers for me to cancel their 'service'. Tried calling their phone (08082342042) to get refund but oddly never answered. Probably get people paying to try many calls too. The site reference above is a good one.

    Very Peeved
    What a rip off.  I only asked for one code and expected to pay once.  Not have knowingly subscribed and been charged.  When I received a rather large mobile bill I called my provider vodafone who said they would put a stop on all calls but a few weeks later they are starting again.
    It's unblievable how they can get away with it.
    I barred these calls from my phone and now can't send STOP!!!

    I keep getting texts from 80810.  I am being charged every time they send me a text and I don't know how to stop this.  The message asks me to text for gam cheats - I think my son used my mobile phone once for a game cheat for his dsi and I have been plagued ever since.  I have tried to get on to the website below but can't seem to manage.

    Hi this happened to me a few weeks ago i called them up and threaghtened to prosocute i never would of but i got 50 pounds back that they had stolen ether that or text them STOP but that costs about 3 pound/dollars/euros or change your mobile number itl be fine after that

    To unsubscribe to any premium text message charges you have already, you will need to obtain the short code for the service. This is normal a short code next to the charge for the service on your bill.  The short code is normally five to six numbers long.  You have to send the message “STOP” or “CANCEL” to the premium text message provider from the phone that obtained the charge.  Once you’ve sent them the text message within five minutes you will receive a message from the premium content provider telling you how much they are going to miss you and that the service has been terminated.

    Try calling  them at the  number  they text you back..

    I see my first post somehow disappeared, but I'm happy to see that meanwhile many others have responded about uscshortcode.com and parental controls/ limiting features you can add to you wireless account. The person who enters into the contract for the phone is ultimately responsible for any bills and charges. The second YOU hand that phone to your under-age kid, there's the loophole. Yes, it sux, BUT- you can use blocking features and talk to your kids about responsible useage. Protect yourself and once you educate them, most kids do well with cellphones! "
