They called my cell phone today and left NO message. First, how did they get my cell number because nobody credit wise has that number as a contact number and it frustrates me that they are using MY minutes that I pay for. Who the hell is this Tyler & Morgan?

just to let you know your cell phone numbers are no longer private in fact someone is coming up with a directory as we speak for cell phones.....your cell number even your non publish phone #'s are able to be seen for the right price! make you wonder huh.

I got a call from Victor Lopez at Tyler & Morgan regarding a legal matter. He was calling for my step dad at our office. I thought it stange that he didn't have his last name correct, but did call in spanish, my step dads first language. I googled it and found this forum. I love the internet. I called back the number and spoke with the operator. She had our phone number regestered to the  name of an employee we had over 8 years ago. I asked the operator what kind of firm that was, she said legal then asked me if i was that employee. I said no and she said, okay ill take you off our list then hung up. Something very shady. I don't like it.

A Guy calling from this number at kids bedtime,asking for my ex husband and stating he is from a Private Investigation firm. Are they for real?

got a call from a "Trey Harris" attorney at law regarding a very important matter concerning an associate of mine ( whom I've never met)

My elderly mother just got a call on her answering maching today by a woman from "Tyler and Morgan".  The woman's message was asking about Mr. Richard ______ and his grandaughter Catherine ______.  My step-father has been dead for 9 years, and, technically I am not his grand-daughter, but he never had any children.  Since I own my vehicles, don't use credit cards and own the place I live in, and my mother is the same, I sensed an elderly scam and told my mother to report it to the local District attorney's office.  She is keeping the recording and will play it for the DA so they can check it out.  You should all do the same.

Just got a call for my husband about this scam. First of all if they get you on the phone and you admit that the debt is your or you agree to make payments they can by law resubmit an old debt to the credit bureaus. Now depending on what state you aquired the debt(not what state you are in now) you may be outside of the legal time line for them to litigate. I know it is 4 years here in California for credit cards. So if they wanted to take you to court they would have years ago.  But these so called "lawfirms" buy the debt for pennies on the dollar and will use what ever tactics they can to get any money out of you.  Especially scaring you into thinking that you may have to go to court.  Because if they buy it for $15 and get $300 out of us... you see where I am going with this.  As for the people that work at these so called lawfirms... I will pray for you!!

THEY HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH A LAW FIRM. Like any other 3rd party collection agency they need you to sign or agree over the phone. They hit hard to find YOU who owes $$$ then if they get you they win the account.

Called about two months ago and left voice mail (cell phone) that they had an important matter concerning my wife's ex-husband and his new wife. We were suspcious, but my wife called them back anyway. They then proceeded to blindside her with guilt concerning a credit matter she had. She also told my wife she was trying to keep the matter from going to court within a few days. My wife told the "Tyler/Morgan associate" that she would have to discuss this matter with me first and we'd get back to them. They have since called almost daily leaving voice mails each time. Today we got the ultimate. My wife was told that she needed to "mature up and confront this matter like an adult." The nerve of the ****ers! That message was saved and will be forwarded to the State Attorney Generals!

My mother got a call from these people saying that they were going to file a class action lawsuit against me.  I called back the # they left w/in 2 hrs after they called my mom and the # was disconnected?  I then asked her to give me the # that showed up on the caller i.d. and it too was disconnected?!  This has got to be a scam....otherwise why would it be disconnected?  In addition I've applied for a home mortgage and the lender tells me that there's nothing on my credit report of this nature at all?  After contacting the credit bureau's they told me that there isn't anything on my report of this nature?!  It's some kind of scam.

It's a collection agency and they have purchased your account and will threaten to sue you. In my case, they said I was being "audited".
BTW, a judgment is not worth the paper it's written on.
As they say, you can't get blood out of a turnip.

They will be reported to the Florida & Texas State AG office for investigation of illegal & threatening collection activities. saving VM's and am recording their phone conversations for future use.

I have received several calls from Tyler & Morgan regarding my ex-husband.  We haven't been married for over 22years.  This firm states they want me to pass a message to my husband since he is not returning their calls and they want to allow him to solve this matter voluntarily.  This company found me at my home office and on my cell phone.  I have not spoken to my ex in 11 years.  I don't know how they found me or why they would call me.  I don't think it's a fraud I believe they are a bill collector of some sort, i just don't think they should be bothering family members.

Mr right to the point...Get off Penny's case, you have no idea what her situation is...quit playing judge jury and hangman,

I happen to know this person, and she is 1O TIMES the person you will ever be...

Until you walk a couple of miles in her shoes keep your opinions to yourself

i recieved a call for this company stating i owed the money from 2 years ago when i checked my credit it was still there they gave me a very good settlement to resolve it,i have other things on my credit still but im trying to clean it all up.....bottom line is i have not recieved any kind of treatment from this company thats stated here,but i have recieved terrible treatment from other firms that will not settle for anything and presure you to pay the full amount with interest now i believe that should against the law in some way especially if the debt is old my advice is try to settle with any debt you may instead of paying the full amount with interest,i believe there are alot of crooked companies out there that will never give anyone a break ,if they settle always get it in writing

These people -- "Tyler & Morgan" -- have been calling me for five years. Their names change, but the pitch is always the same: My relative must settle a debt. I called my lawyer who identified a dozen points of evidence that Tyler and Morgan is a scam. He said to forget them. Today they called and said my relative's "case" was going to be audited tomorrow and it is "imperative" do have my relative call them. They refuse to give any useful information about themselves, but aggressively demand that I have my relative contact them. No way would I do that! My guess is that T&M has some bit of information and a charge card application, but there is some crucial bit of information they need before they can complete the rip off. It is disgusting that we have such parasites in society. People: do not be taken in by their scare tactics and do not give them ANY information. If you patiently explain that you know it's all a scam, maybe they'll leave you alone and go look for a gullible victim.

All the calls seem to have the same pattern.  But they are not a law firm.  Has anyone actually had to go to court or had a judgement??  Let me know.  Most of what they do sounds over the line of the Fair Debt Act

i live in virginia and i do have a judgment on my credit from an attorney in my state that represented them for the judgment but i still have no money to pay the judgment anyway.
