Received multiple calls from this number in past 7 days - no message ever left.

My wife is receiving mail from them saying I won a BMW, Mercedes, or Porche or $49,000 cash PROMOTION.  The key word here is promotion. Then they go on to say we are holding your choice of a luxury 4-day Royal Caribbean Cruise for two with meals and entertainment included or pre-paid round trip airfaire and two nights accomodations for two to your choice of Las Vegas or Orlando, value $795, plus one of the four guaranteed prizes: and they list some stuff.

Beware, I was just checking my credit report and noticed that these scumbags pulled a soft inquiry. I never gave them permission to check my credit report, I still don't even know how they got my info :(

817-440-1027 THEY JUST KEEP CALLING!!!! i emailed the company silverleaf to change my phone number--the pre-paid attorney firm we occassionally use I am sure can help them more than I!!

Have received 4 calls from this number today.  They call everyday and several times a day.

I get several calls from Silverleafnort every day several times a day.  It is getting very annoying and I refuse to answer their calls.

(817) 440-1027 called my home for weeks, many times a day, and never leave a message. How can I block this phone#?

repeatedly calls, at least once a day for the last weeks

This number has called me for the last 3 weeks about 15-20 times per day. I have told them I am not interested in their prize and to take me off the list. They have told me no problem you are off the list. Calls keep continueing. I asked for the manager and Paul or whatever his name is got on the phone told me sure I will take you off the list myself. Then he goes into the speal of well you are guarenteed a prize. I told him that you have got to be kidding me. He said he is going thru the process of getting me off the list. I told him thank you. By the way calls have not stopped. They are a bunch of idiots in a call center who don't care about anything. I am fed up with them calling. I just ignore from now on.

Time share scam, that I did not sign up for.

817-440-1027 has been calling me everyday for the past 4 days. I finally answered, thinking it might be a job calling, and they told me that I won a contest. My prizes were between a new Mercedes Benz, a new BMW or $49,000 and the second prize was $15,000. I told them it was the wrong number and they told me that I was wrong. They are still calling and it's so annoying!

This number calls atleast ten to fifteen times a day. And they never say anything. I tired of it and want them to stop calling somebody help me.

These calls are very annoying!  They called at least five times today, did not leave any message, and have called every day, several times a day, for probably a month.

It is disturbing our peace and quiet and activities at home.  We complained to  donotcall.gov (FTC online registry for do not call list).  I hope that the calls stop soon.

Tomorrow, I will disconnect all of our phone plugs from the jacks if they keep it up!  I will have to let my relatives know, and our employers may not be able to reach us.  If we have an emergency at home, we can plug the phones back in the wall.  My family will have to call our cell phone number if they have an emergency.  I might be able to silence all of the ringers instead.

verizon lets you block up to 5 numbers for free.  you can do it online, login to your my verizon account, goto My Services, click on Spam Controls, and enter the numbers you want to block.  The blocked numbers will expire after 3 months, but I think you can just re-enter them if they are still calling.

I started getting these calls about two weeks ago as well.  After about three days of increasing activity, I sent an email to the addresses provided in this blog: baxterj@silverleafresorts.com, oestreichj@silverleafresorts.com,
info@silverleafresorts.com, paredess@silverleafresorts.com and cannonj@silverleafresorts.com.  

I politely asked them to remove my phone number from their list as we had not signed up for any prizes or information on resorts.  I also stated how long we have been on the DoNotCall.gov listing.  I thanked them for their time and stated that if the calls continued I would be forced to file a complaint through the DoNotCall.gov site as well as with the Federal Trade Commission.  Haven't had one call since.

Have had 20+ calls from this number in the last two ddays.  Thy cant wait to tell me about the weepstakes I have won.  thanks for the info.  The firewall will take care of them from here on out.  And all this in spite of the donotcall registration.  Apparently they don't learn.

As i read many of your posts i realize im not the only one geting repeated unwanted calls from 817-440-1027. As soon as there number shows up on my cell I hang up emmediately. Today for instance they have called me since 9am its now 3:45pm. 15 calls for today alone and sure many more to come. Im sure its a scamer calling trying to give out promising information just to either get your money or scam you all together. Is'nt this a form of harassment? The next time they call im going to awnser and hold a blow horn to the phone. Lets see if they call again.

I have received multiple calls from this number daily for the past several weeks.  I have reported them, I have held down a button on the phone and have repeatedly pressed buttons on the phone.  Still, they call.  It is very irritating and bothersome.  How can I stop them?
