I received a text from this number saying to call Comenity Bank about a credit card.  After two questions, I realized that they were trying to obtain information they should not be.  I told them I was contacting the Attorney General's Office and they hung up.

I received the following text:  "Forget Us?  Call Comenity Capital RE:  Ultamate Rewards Mastercard @ 844-271-2583 or bit.ly/27rzZw5  To stop Texts, reply STOP.  For help reply HELP.  I have a card, but my account is current.  After reading these posts, I am not even bothering to call the number.  However, I am going to contact the company at a number I have in MY records and share that I received this text so they know there is a scam going on.

I received a text message asking me to call or click on a bit.ly link, regarding my Ulta credit card. I first tried to sign in online to see if maybe I missed a payment, but could not find any info. Finally I googled the number they left, and found these similar reports.

Just received same message  to call this number or cbnk.com/WBKOE07XN3 (and a bunch of different #s and letters after the .com) about my Ultamate Mastercard. COMENITY (Comentiy) was misspelled so I figured a scam. I went to the domain name and it's not a valid website.  I called the 844 # just to mess with them and they asked for my Date of Birth (DOB) in addition to my address and last 4 of my SSN.  You can tell by talking to them that it's a scam.  But it's a pretty good scam that almost sounds legitimate.

The SCAMMERS are still at it.  We experienced the same as everyone else.  Text about Credit Card, Call this number, Comenity Bank.  We called the real phone number on the back of our credit card.  Yes "IT"S A SCAM"

I received a URGENT text message regarding my LOFT card - I emailed the credit card and will wait for response but reading the previous messages I will block this number. People suck.

I received a text too -"URGENT" from Comenity Capital Bank @ 844-271-2583 or cnbk.co/WQHALXVIFV.  This very rude woman demanded that I give her my number.  And unfortunately I did, then she demanded my address and I said, NO.  If this is call is regarding my credit card you should be able to tell me which one.  She went on to say that this was a call to collect on a debt and that she didn't have to tell me anything.  I replied that I have been impacted by fraud and I am not giving my information to anyone without knowing what the issue was about.  She then told me to call the bank but she wouldn't tell me anything.  I have muliple cards and some from Comenity bank, but they are all paid.  When I accessed this number and saw the complaints, I became angry and called the number.  I got a different woman and I screamed "WHAT DO YOU WANT'  She said -- "you called me" so you tell me your information...I screamed back "NO, YOU CALLED ME FIRST, YOU CONTACTED ME FIRST, YOU TELL ME WHAT YOU WANT".  She became quietly and drawn and said she was hanging up the phone!!

I received a text with this number that started "Forget us?  Call Comenity Bank..." and after reading these posts I ignored them.  Guess what, it is LEGITIMATE.  When I looked at my account, I realized I accidentally missed a payment.  I called the number on my card and they verified that the number in the text was from their payment follow up department.  They did say that I did the safest thing, calling directly instead of the number in the text.

Looks like after years these people still haven't been stopped just received text similar to others below and Google to see if scam

Received a text message saying it is from Comenity Capital Bank and to call 844-271-2583, but I couldn't find that number in any of the bank's numbers, so I started looking and found this site. Beware, there are too many scammers right now, don't fall for them.

Got the same text message requesting I all regarding my Comenity Capital Bank acct.
They have tried several ways saying Amazon Acct. Amazon said it was fraud.

I just got that same text and wanted to research the number before calling it- thank you posting

This is a scam.  I know for a fact that I do not have any pymts due (as I have no balances) on any acct I have with Comenity.  I wish there was a way to stop these scammers!!

Receiving calls and texts from this same number every few days.  Checked here since it seemed odd, glad to know it's already been discovered as a scam.  Thanks!

They are still doing it in 2022. I just got a text that says 'Call Comenity Capital Bank' with this same number to call or a link to click on. Deleted and blocked it.

I received a text from 51098 saying...

I call the number to find out which CC it was and the woman would not tell me, she kept asking me for personal information. I realized that it had to be a scam.
