I got this message today. I’ve gotten them a couple of years ago but deleted and ignored and it stopped but now again. This is copy and paste of the message.

Got a text from this number telling me to call them regarding my ulta credit card, I recently made a purchase online, but they never text me to call them, so I googled it instead of calling, and sure enough, it is another one of those scammers!

I just received a text from these people too ( Comenity Capital Bank). I have an account with the real bank. I've also gotten a few emails too. There's no way I'm answering this. I knew it was spam and after reading these comments I'll call the bank tomorrow and report it.

I got the same text today, but with a different code than yours. Thing is, why so urgent if I have no cards with them? UGH!!

844-271-2583. This is actually Comenity Bank texting a debt past due. If you forget to pay the minimum due, they will give you a courtesy text so you can log in through the link. I recommend logging in to the official website and making a payment right away or they can and will send you to collections.

I'm sure that they are not going to turn you over to a debt collector for one missed payment. They will simply keep trying to collect it themselves for a while. You should pay your bills and then you won't get calls or texts from them like that. That is why you came here isn't it? To tell everyone that you don't pay your bills on time?

I had the same number text me...to call It is a scam.... A credit card company would never send you a text to call them... A letter yes, or they would call or leave a message in your credit card statement...

If you signed up for text alerts then yes they will text you. You should always call them back using the number on the back of your card or bank statment.
