trying to get me to  say yes to a new modem and plan as she said mine is obsolete  I told her when and if my service becomes obsolete I will consider changing things then.... She said she was calling for Shaw...   too pushy   a call centre for sure.

Called today August 15/22. Claimed they were from Shaw in Ontario wanting to discuss my "current package." Message left. Have blocked this number from leaving any more messages.

Upon review of my stored messages I realized that I had received a similar call from this number a few days ago. Basically they stated that they needed to contact me so that "Shaw" could enter my premises and install a new modem. Number is now blocked.

Aug 24/22 -just ignored an incoming call from this number. Some say it was from Shaw.ca and It probably was. They have been phoning me over the last few months wanting me to 'upgrade' my services. I DO NOT THINK SO! I have an old basic cable, two phone lines, HD for TV and unlimited Internet and discount- (since 2009) for less than their 'new' fibre' service. I would not discuss it with them before, nor will I now. Has anyone investigate the change they might one day just cancel your account because you do not switch?

September 20/22 - These people are really starting to piss me off. They keep calling and calling but they can't leave messages because they're blocked. THEY STILL CALL. I never answer my phone, I always screen my calls but one day, while waiting for a doctor to call me I picked up and it was them. I didn't even wait to hear the spiel, I hung up. Yet they still call. Extremely obnoxious scam artists with not a helluva lot in the intelligence department. Block them ASAP!!!

Did you really think that by blocking their number it would prevent them from calling you?

Same as the previous comments - really aggressive Shaw staff trying to push more expensive upgrades that I neither want nor need.

I received this call but was not home, and they left no message. So it's Shaw, what's the big deal? Anytime I have dealt with Shaw Customer Service they have been extremely polite and professional. I don't understand why most of the above people are so pissed. Maybe you should live in Ukraine for a month and see how much you like your couch and your Shaw cable TV and modem!

No...it doesn't, I get this number calling me constantly, I have them blocked so it rings and then bumps them off, however, I am also aware they use several other numbers too but I just keep blocking them, if these idiots cannot avoid us then there are ways we can avoid them.

I got the call today from the same number.  I did not pick up but a woman left a message saying that she is from Shaw Communication.  She want to discuss upgrading my internet and TV box, and ask me to call her back.  It sounds fishy because I don't even have a TV box.  Thanks to comments from you guys, now I don't need to waste time to call her back.

Woman said she was calling for Shaw and wanted to make sure I was getting the full benefit of my plan ..  Told her I didn't want to change anything and hung up while she was still talking

I just got a call from them now.   Call display said it was an unknown caller.  I let my machine  pick up but they did not leave a message. If it was Shaw, I really do not want anything from them now that they are part of Rogers.    I am thinking of switching providers as a result of the merger.    I have never heard anything good about Rogers.   What is wrong with having competition?

Got a call from this number but when I answered they hung up!  So no idea who it was for sure.

Got a call from this number today, after I got off with them I went and called the number on the Shaw website and did some checking with them.  Best they can tell from our call was that it appears to be a legit number.  Hope this helps some people with similar concerns.
