I just got the same call, I let it roll to VM.  I clearly missed the first part, but he said I was being summoned as a witness FYI to anyone who looks this up.

Hi, my name is Holly.  I just received a call from  a man named Christopher Powell from "legal caring services.  The message was the same as yours.  I called them back.  This is the 2nd time I have received a call like this.  The 1st one was in April.  I just called the Fed-Info phone number, they gave me the phone number for the Federal Trade Center.  The phone number is 1-877-382-4357 or locally in Washington, dc 202-326-2222.  I think we should all call them.  It is definetly a scam.

Everybody who receives this call from a Christopher Powell "legal caring services", PLEASE call the FTC at 1-877-382-4357 or locally in Washington, DC  202-326-2222.  This is definetly  a scam.

I got this call too.. called back to confront and its a machine.. saying more fake legal garbage.. SCAM -  this is the 2nd call I got saying I need to go to court - this is all fake and a scam and not the way legal proceedings are done.. do not give any information.. This is sad- elderly people get these calls and are afraid and give out info..

Call the 844-809-8788 number and Brian Anderson gets on - then Brad Bovine (give me a break) hang up on this BS, the Brad calls again 585-366-0557 (New York) about why I hung up on him, so I hung up again...

"This is Christopher Powell with Legal Caring Services" was a voicemail message on my office phone number. Just like other reports in this string, he says he "has a Summons in hand for me (but does NOT say my name); he "is scheduled to go out to my home or place of employment in the next 24 hours... please make myself available with 2 valid forms of ID.  If served at work, a supervisor or head of security will need to be available to sign off as a witness."  "Please be advised: failure to sign for the Summons could result in a missed court appearance..." "You can contact the party that has filed against you at 844-809-8788."

Got the same message. I called back; when someone answered, I hung up. Then they called me back from a blocked number.

I received a call from the same "Christopher Powell" stating he was from some kind of legal services and I was going to be served if I did not contact him back.  I never answered the phone so he left a message on my answering machine, but he never did address me specifically.  Never respond to these kind of calls!

I just received a voicemail from the same person, Christopher Powell saying that he was with Legal Caring Services.  Blah, blah, blah...same script read as with everyone else. Thank God I Googled the phone number and saw that it was nothing more than a scam, it sure put my mind at ease. Thank you to all who took the time to post about this issue. You saved me a lot of undue stress. Too bad people don't have anything better to do with their time. I will not be returning any call today or ever!

I received this same call from the same number and same name "Christopher Powell" telling me that I owe money and they are going to serve me court papers at work or my home. He asked me to settle the payment over the phone with a card. This is DEFINATLY a scam.

Got this same message from another number months ago. Same voice and schtick different name/number and day. Pretty lamo that these scammers just keep using new numbers to rip people off. Get a job losers! Get a flipping job for crying out loud. Go back to school, quit doing drugs and make something of your god forsaken life. And quit being a useless sack of $%^&! Fraud Fraud Fraud!!!
