When the person answers, tell them you'd like to be taken off the list. Give them your state and phone number. They will politely say "We'll do that."

Well if it is legitimate concerning living conditions, government, politics and the economy in New York State then why the heck are they bothering me here in Florida?

I jsut sent them a email with my numbers attached.  Hopefully it will work.  I've gotten 4 calls from them in 2 days and one was after 10pm central.  All they said on that one was "Sorry we don't know where we are calling, can we call back at a better time."

Annoying how they are calling cell phone numbers now. Got a call from them at 930pm and I did not pick up.

I live in TX, received a call from this number, didn't leave a vm... I'm on the do not call list.

I received a call from 845-575-3775 and it came up as "unknown name" at 6:40pm on 7/24/13. They didn't leave a message. I'm on the do not call list and still receive these annoying calls.

Keeps calling

I respect a college doing research, but they called twice yesterday when I wasn't home, and called again today.  When I picked up, I told them I was not interested in participating in their poll, and asked to be removed from their list.  That should have been the end of the call, and it would have been fine.  However, the woman continued to try to convince me to participate, which was inappropriate after I had already said I wasn't interested.

Boy....you people are uneducated.

They do phone surveys, mostly political.

I am not sure how or why this number keeps calling me, but I have put them on my call blocked list and I have a log of how many times they call and what time. How can I get them to stop calling me

I have got 3 calls from this number - each time they hung up and did not say a word - what a bunch of A holes!!

I keep getting these calls and I even asked them not to call again but they just keep calling, I even had to shut my phone off over night so I wouldn't get woken up.  I don';t know how to stop them from calling, going to see if I can just block the number.

I have had ten calls in the last 2 days I have asked them to stop calling but they still call, this last time they called I stopped them from saying only about two words and then threatened them that if they called again I would notify the police and put in a harassment claim, I will see if this stops them if they are  legit then they are not very professional.

They may be highly respected but not by me.  I have asked them several times not to call my number but they keep calling, the last call I told them I will put in a harassment claim to the police if they call again.  To me they are not very professional or respectful, if someone told me not to call their number again I would respect their wishes, THEY DON'T!!

I agree. Whether or not they have to comply with DNC is not the point.

If you ask them to stop calling, then they should do exactly that.
