可以帮帮我吗？我被米莱精品百货公司骗走了33千，可以帮我找回我的钱吗？

I am a Malaysian. I Just received an overseas call by the nos of +85230696956, the name to be appeared as SARs Hong Kong.
I did not pick it up, I am suspecting something is not right.
Please be alert when the phone is ring.

I got the same call from 85230696956 but i roughly know it is a scam so i told them not to call again n just hand up.

My father just received a phone call （+852）3069 7579 bout an hour ago. A woman was talking chinese and speak very fast. The woman know my father name and his phone number and i have no idea why. She say that can my father go join their lucky draw party held by their shopping center in hongkong (something like that cause she talk very fast and my father not good in chinese). After that, my father pass the phone to my mum and let my mum speak to this woman. This woman repeat again the same thing. Then my mum realize something is not right. She right away ask her:"What's ur shopping center name?" "What's ur shopping center name?" Then she just keep on talking and speaking very fast in chinese, my mum cant really fully understand. Then my mum straight away ask her:"I win the lucky draw? What's lucky draw prize? I can get a Mercedes? I can get a Benz? You will give me 100k?" (In a loud voice) Then the woman get offended and scolded my mum Crazy(神经病). My mum told her that she only is the one that is crazy. Then the woman hang up the phone immediately. If this is really a phone call by a REAL and REGISTERED shopping center, why the woman so rude? Why she get offended so easily? Lastly, we are from MALAYSIA, and we did not join any lucky draw from hong kong before. By the way, i search the phone number from google and the google show me a website which is http://www.nico365.com/index.php/contact . This phone call even have a website and showing that they are actually having the lucky draw session. I do not know that is this NICO365 actually exist in hongkong because i've never been there (we are going to hongkong next month) so maybe i will check it out as soon as i get there by following the address that listed on the website. Or maybe any of you guys who live in hongkong may tell me is the shopping center actually real or not.
If this is really a scam, I only have one thing to tell them, GET A LIFE DUDE. STOP CHEATING PEOPLE.

exactly same story told, i have won a prize of a diamond ring worth RM120k. asking me to go HK to redeem. or else their company will buy back the diamond from us and pay us RM90k after deducting some charges. blah... blah...blah....

the caller seems not familiar with the banks in malaysia.
if she had handled so many claims in malaysia, she should have a list of malaysia banks.
i told her i work in Berjaya Time Square, i never heard of 秀越珠宝钟表集团.
never seen such big event hold by this company.

i asked for their website, yes, they have a very nice website, but just a beautiful page. no content.

I just got a call form miilai.com saying i won a raw diamond from Cartier worth RM120,000 and the same story as Janet happen in 1 Oct. However i told her i need to look at their company background and then only i'll call back. They gave me www.miilai.com. Indeed my name appear the the third prize winning list. However i still find it too good to be true. I search for the web and found this post. To Janet, I believe you are the lady that make the police report and appear in the news. I have call Inspector Suhadi but unfortunately he did not answer my call.

I got the same call just now from +0085230697789 told me i won a cartier ring worth 120k. She spoke in fluent chinese and named herself 朱晓微. I nearly get cheated if I didnt see this forum. I gave them my IC number and bank account, I wonder if they can do anything with my personal details? Bank account is not a big problem for me now since I can cancel it and create a new account. But how about my IC number?

You do a right things. Please try to call Insp. Suhadi again. He is a nice guy. He will make the report to KL and contact with other. I really hope they can collect more information and find a way to catch them !!!

OMG!! Did u make a police report? Sorry to heard that. The money is gone, we can't get it back. Please go to make a police report as soon as possible. So that, the police can collect more information about them and inform others.

Received a call today at about 1030am from 85230696956.

I am the lucky winner apparently and i just won a Cartier diamond worth RM120k. I am suppose to travel to HK to redeemed my prize. Oh come on... too good to be true.

Well, i am in a good mood and listened to her strategy. Complete with websites, and even agreed with me that there are plenty of scams out there and understand my fear. Provided me address and website. Told me all HK websites need to be registered with authority. Yada yada yada.

In the end i told here that the diamond must be very precious. She told its from Cartier, world renowned name. Told her i wanna make today her day. Told her i am giving her the diamond. Ask her to enjoy the "rock" at my expense

Thanks for posting this. I am glad i found this website. I received the same calls saying that i had won 3rd prize. I can opt to receive RM192,000 if i reject the free travel package. They asked me to provide them my a/c no. I told them since i am outstation, i can't provide the info to them. I am sure they will try calling me again.

I am glad that i found this website to confirm my earlier suspicious that this was all a scam!!!

I just received a call from this company called Xing Shen Electronics Co. Ltd saying I won HKD$526,780 of travel package which can be converted into cash and ask me to call this Hong Kong bank with the num: 852 6527 8677 to verify the temporary account that their company has created for me to transfer it to my POSB account in SG. Well, I called to confirm the account number but After which, the fake bank representative  told me that they were unable to transfer such a large sum of money over and requires a proof document from the company. So I called back to that lady and that is when she told me that I have to pay deposit fee of 4.5% of the prize money as Hong Kong Law regards transferring of funds above $25,000 as trying to avoid Tax and that I will be refunded the deposit fee 3 hrs later once the transaction has been approved. She even recommended me to use this service 'Western Union' in SingPost to transfer the amount to their designated directors account whom their accountant will then help me settle the document with that HK Bank.

Well.. I got suspicious and I told her she's trying to fool me but she was quick to come up with excuses to assure me saying that she and her company wouldn't be doing this especially when they are trying to establish their presence in Singapore next year and she might be transferred here and it will be nice to have a friend like me in SG. Hahaz... She calls herself 'Yang Ling Na' btw and she sounded like Taiwanese to me with this very sweet but sharp vocal. So guys watch out for her.
I'm still at this stage and I'm waiting for her call tmr :)

Received 2 calls from same area code phone number but didn't pick up coz got a strong feeling it's a scam call.

I'm Malaysian. Get called from this number by today too,but i din't pick it up because i did not pick up any stranger numbers call. And then i found this website. Thanks for the information so that i can alert my friends to avoid it.

i received the same kind of call, with phone number +776913150

saying i won a Audi A4 in HK, asking me to collect in 3 days.

their call back number is +852 30506965

i know it's a scam in the very first call.

This is the second time this lady (Li Jia Hui) called. I told her i don't understand Chinese and she gave me this webiste www.showyia.com She called from 00852-3069-6956.

Mee too, I received this same call , telling me that I m the 3rd Prize winner ( the 2c diamond) which I can choose to redeem the prize directly from Hong Kong , or can convert to cash , equivalent to RM 120,000 ( after HK tax deduction, net amount to reimburse is RM 96,000).. a mandarin speaking Chinese lady identified as 小程, guided me to enter the company website (www.nico365.com) to show that my name ( My full name as per IC) is listed there...surprisingly she can tell out my Malaysian IC no in full !!  She even lead me to see a whole list of other prize winners from the website ! Then she asked me for account no ( she even advise if I am worry, I may give a bank account that is empty with no balance )...she explained very fast the standard procedure of making the claim from HK, even gave me a bank tel to contact (in order for me to verify my details ) - seems KMB... slowly slowly... then "the bank"  said required me to deposit an amount of RM 5706 as " collateral" ... as soon as the full amount is deposited into my Malaysian account , I could get back immediately this amount RM 5706.... the corporate website (www.nico365.com)  seems so impressive & "believing ... for all those this lady told me ... I wrote to the company email address ( service@nico365.com) to seek for confirmation of the info that lady verbally told me over the phone... but "the company" didn't reply my email... when I call back few times to this tel +852-30697579... there was no pick up /reply ( I was wondering if such a "big mall" why as though no one is working to pick up the call )

This lady told me another lady from Malaysia already claimed for her prize.. I asked her to give me that Malaysian lady HP tel ( is a 016 XXXXXX number )... but when I called the line... It sounds like an overseas call .... no pick up

conclusion this is a scam ! ( anybody else receive the same call )

What should we do ?
should we report to the Hong Kong police ?
I was trying to lodge a police report online
