Called me and I did not recognize # so I did not answer.  No message.  Called back 5 minutes later, I answered...got the usual robo-dialer delay, then the guy with Indian accent explained he is from this PC Tracker or Enterprise company and asked if I have a Windows PC.  Did not ask for me, or my name, etc.  I asked why he called and did not leave a voicemail, that no reputable company would call and hang up and call right back.  He claimed to not have called.  I told him he is full of sh*t, and asked what kind of scam he was trying, and if he thought I was stupid enough to fall for it.  He said it is no scam.  I told them not to call me any more, used a few expletives and hung up.

I received a call a few minutes ago from this number asking for Tess (My sister-in-law, con artist her self) on February 18, 2014.  I said who and how did you get my number.  They hung up very quickly.  When I called it back, I got this recording "the subscriber  you are trying to reach is out of the area and can not be reached"  So I text them and said "if Tess is using my number for illegal things again I will have the police involve."  Hope to never hear from them again, but I saved the contact, so if they do, I will know it immediately.  Then I typed 855-383-2473 in search bar and found this site.  Thank You!!!

PC trackers - almost unintelligible person telling me they receive all my error reports -- like I EVER do that...seriously?  These losers need to be stopped.

I got a call today from someone with an Indian accent and very hard to hear or understand.  I was also told that my computer had viruses and they were calling to help me fix them.  I asked how they got my number and they said Windows reported it.  I actually own a Mac.  I entertained them for a while and pretended like I was doing what they asked of me.  When I mentioned the word fraud they hung up.  I sure hope no one falls for this crap.

This is crazy...I got a call from this number - didn't answer.  Found this site after Googling the number which is usually what I do for strange numbers that don't leave me a message.  After reading all these comments, I'm a little confused why they'd even be calling me.  I don't even own a computer!  

they keep calling even after told no. for one if your a legit business it just looks bad. for two im fairly good with computers and no nothing has been downloaded  or is wrong she doesnt know anything. clearly a scam and the ppl posting that they helped them with there computers im sure is probably  them too just trying to make themselves look legit

Called with Indian accent claimed to be with PC Tacker and that they detected malicious downloads to my computer and asked if I was aware of these downloads... I hung up on him.

They called for the second time, first time was about a month ago. They said that our Windows computer was sending error messages and was trying to get my dad to do something on the computer. The guy who called was very difficult to understand, very thick Indian accent. My dad and I are tech-savvy, and we both knew right away that it was crap, especially since we have 2 Macs and we rarely use the Windows for anything. I recorded the last 5 minutes or so of the conversation, if anyone would like to hear it, let me know.

Got a call from the "PC Tracker".  Told them not to call again and that I would pursue legal action.  Very persistent in stating that we have a problem.  Again it is a person with an Indian accent.  Since I had heard about this attempts I had hung up on them before they could get very far.  Don't fall for this tactic.

I keep getting calls from this number and r finally I answered.  Indian accent, very difficult to understand, threatening tone of voice that I have been downloading some illegal whatever.  I  hung up but wonder how these calls can be stopped.  Looking at past dates of blogs about same phone calls this has been going on over a year.  Microsoft do something.  

This is 2nd call of this type.  A male with a heavy accent claiming to be w/Microsoft Windows.  I asked for a phone # to call back--phone # did not work.  This time, caller used my 1st name and husband's last, which I don't use.  I said "not interested" and hung up.  Do not give out any information!  

Got a call a little while ago from 800 Service 855-383-2473. It was a guy from India and he said he a Windows Tech Support person.  He said I had viruses on my computer from downloading stuff from the internet.  He wanted me to push the command button (the button with 4 flags) plus the R.  I told him my son was in computer security and he would take care of any problems I was having with it.  He was quite persistent that only he could fix it.  He was also quite belligerent when I told him that I had his phone number on caller Id and my son would contact him if he needed his help.  I then hung up my phone as he began shouting at me. Glad I hung up on that one!

Same scenario, i had viruses, they got my info, blah, blah-- scam!

I got a call from 855 383 2473 too. It was obviously a boiler room operation. They said my computer was downloading illegal software. Goodness, such bad habits. I hung up.

Cows? Do you mean "crows" as in "They should eat crow?"
