calls and leaves no message

I'm getting calls from a company saying it's Matrix Medical and they wish to do an in-home check-up for me through my ins. co. They want to send a Nurse Practitioner.  I've told them I take care of my own health through healthy eating and exercise.  I talked at length the other day to a woman who called and then gave me this phone number to call.....855-403-0967

A couple days later I received another call which was an automated man's voice saying it was Matrix Medical and asked if this was *my name. *  I already had answered YES to another call a couple wks. ago, then found out it's a SCAM.  This time when I answered, " this is my name" the male voice said you need to answer YES or NO.  I hung up and now am really concerned this Matrix Medical is also a scam.

I 'think' the name was Matrix Medical, but it could have been a variation.  It's such a scary world out there these days and they are preying on seniors!

I actually BLOCKED this number from calling me about a week ago because it comes up without an identifying name & the caller doesn't leave a message.  I can only assume it is a scam call & treat it as such.  HOWEVER.....even tho' the number is showing as being blocked when I check my list of blocked numbers, they still managed to get a call thru' today from the same number!  Until it shows an identifying name or until they leave a message, I won't be speaking to them.  And I don't feel comfortable leaving a stranger walk into my home....how do I know who they really are?  I could call you & say I'm calling from your health care company (or wherever) but that doesn't mean I am!!

has  called land line several times.  No message left but it comes up on screen as "800 service"

Called at 8:00 in the AM, left lengthy message about a home health visit..  Called again at 9:00 this time I answered. Caller said she called to set up a time for a health care visit from a nurse. Told her she did not need one and hung up.. I am sure they will be calling again.  This is just a way for them to squeeze more out of medicare... They try to make you think it is mandatory.. Tell them to get lost.

This is nothing but a way to squeeze more money out of medicare..  Why go to the ER to have a check up if you don't need one.. PEOPLE HAVE REGULAR DOCTORS FOR THAT. Why have a home health nurse come for a check up if you don't need one?   Your people are only interested in their bottom line and getting all they can from the government. Your callers try to make it sound like it is mandatory.. Outfits like yours are what drives up healthcare costs....

I received a call on my home phone from some company saying they were a representative of HealthPartners.  They left a number of 855-403-0967 to call them back.  Instead of returning the call I called HealthPartners and informed them.

they called again today at 8:45a.m. don't answer no message

I have asked these people to STOP calling me at least 2 times a month for over a year.  They want to do a home health care check up.  My PCP said that's what we get done at their office.  They just won't stop calling!!!

Just called me and I did not answer. I feel if we need assistance then I can get it. I do not know these people snd surely do not want them in my home unless invited.

These calls have it backwards...we call the Doctor...he treats us...the Doc sends the information to the Ins. company.. whom we pay, monthly for having them.   The ins. co. should not provide is with " their " nurse  or Doctor...., then send her/his findings to our Doctor.  What thinks you all?

Why are you bothering to call?

These are real calls HOWEVER it is your insurance companies way of attempting to gain more money from the government by examinations that may alter your "status."  Something like a high or low risk assessment.  It is never a good idea to participate in these things.  Also, it is a third party and one must protect your personal health information like you protect your SS number.

They call at least 2 times a week.  I tell them I am not interested and to stop calling but they still call.  Claim they are from my insurance company and want to set up an appointment to come to my house.

This is a legit call--Matrix Medical assists Humana Insurance with medical care.

I don't care who it is. When you tell them politely to stop calling and you aren't interested, they should honor your wish. If they are a legit health care company, they need to learn how to better reach out to people. Calling and blocking who they are and not ceasing to keep contacting you is wrong. It should be our choice if we are interested. Since the vast majority of people living in the United States speak English, it would help if the people they choose to call you can speak our given language.

The caller was extremely aggressive and was a trained sales closer. Just because it is "free" to my father doesn't mean Matrix is doing it for "free", so save the patronizing comments. Besides, not wanting a service and not wanting it from a company we don't want to give business to is not the same thing as not wanting the medicare or our advantage plans.The callers behave as though it is an obligation of the insurance policy membership. In fact, the caller even thanked my dad for his Humana membership. Why on earth would a company representing multiple insurance companies thank someone for their membership, except to mislead the elderly that the caller speaks on behalf of the insurance company?

Why would I want a nurse come out to my house when I see two Dr. Each year. ! That’s one every 6mos. I’ve told them no thanks and ask them not to call back. It’s like they never hear anything I say and just keep calling. !!

Company called Matrix Medical has called forty times even though number is permanently blocked and doesn’t ring through- never answered a call- they should know by now they will never get a response here

its through aetna insurance which is now owned by cvs- no message left but in past years they are aggressive forget  telling them you dont want  the service-I dont know how much they get paid  or if its a % but its very annoying
