Scammers even posting here saying it’s a legit rogers number. ONLY call back numbers on your bills no other numbers. Careful so many scams out there today. Looks like the scammers got in to Rogers computers & stole contact info. Obviously Rogers doesnt care if we r harassed but they should care that scammers can do this to them. Makes me want to cancel my Rogers stuff. When I had scam calls from Bell. Bell took a fraud report Rogers does nothing. Won’t renew my contacts w them!

Rogers scam.

They say they are from rogers but they are not.
They call several times a day, if you answer no one talks. They want to get to your voice mail to leave a message sounding like it's rogers so you can call back. When u call back it asks you to put in your phone number so they can find your account. After several failed attempts, they ask for your account number (so they can find out what it is).
I kept pressing zero to talk to an agent. He was obviously a scam. Didn't follow the Rogers script. he asked how he can help. Then asked "
if i happen to have my account number handy". I told him you guys been calling, if u dont have any notes on my file then i need to go. he said "have a nice day"

its a scam call from some [***] people who claim they are from rogers

Got a letter in the mail saying that CSC Corporation found a data breach and my name and SSN were compromised. Listed this phone number. CSC does things like set up corporations and acts as an agent for service of process for business entities. Why would they have my info when I don’t have a company to register? They also list the 3 major credit credit bureau phone numbers to call. Too bad they aren’t the right numbers!

calls and   hangs  up..........number  is  fake ,  ( bogus ) ..........now  blocked  forever......

It appears to be Rogers spam or scam.  Either way, best to block it.

getting several calls from 855-704-7980 asking me to call back ASAP its from Rogers

No ID . No message. Called on Sunday at 6 PM
And again a few times.Comments refer to scam so blocked. .no overdue account with Roger's.

THIS IS NOT ROGERS. CALLED AND VERIFIED. FAKE DONT GIVE THEM ANY INFO.

It is a call from Rogers accounts receivable.  If you believe that is is a scam call Rogers at 1-888-rogers1 and ask them what you owe them.  Easy to find out.  It's not an American number it's a toll free number.

We have no business with Rogers. We only have what is included in our monthly condo corp maintenance fee. We never even rent a movie through Rogers' [***] interface. We use the Apple box for that. There is ZERO reason for Rogers accounts receivable to be phoning me every day.

It shows up as unknown on my call display which was a giant red flag from the first.

To be completely certain, I contacted Rogers. It was confirmed that this number is not one of theirs.

I am convinced this is a fraud/scam call. Sadly, because it shows up as "unknown" I am unable to, block it. I guess I will wait until they tire of playing with me.
