Happened to me as well today.  The number (856) 204-0000 called my work number and reached a co-worker of mine who forwarded it to me.  I stated "This is Amber, how may I help you?" They asked "Is this Amber (lastname)" I said yes and they hung up.  It wasn't until right after did they hung up did I realize I shouldn't have said yes and I started to worry.  I'm not usually wary about people asking for me at work.  I'm worried now about identity theft.  Unfortunately I have no idea who to contact about this.

got a call from 856-204-0000 today asking if he can talk to my boss, and the caller id later on shows the phone number registered as CAR NETWORK. the background of the call sounds like the person is outside, and the person had a heavy accent. the caller said he's dr. smith from texas general hospital. when i transferred the call the caller hung up.

I recvd. the same call at 5:51am my husband answered very rude person with accent asked for my by first and last name my husband brought the phone to me when I said hello, they hung up caller ID shows Car Network as well

856-204-0000 Asian female and Asian male called and asked for a person not here for 10 years. They then hung up.

Received a call from a man at 1:46 p.m. on 2/13/2012.  He asked for a person and I told him that we do not have anyone of that name here.  He started to spell the name and I told the guy that we do not have anyone of that name here.  He told to F*** off and hung up.

Received a call from a person with an Indian accent claiming he was from Bank of America asking for an employee who works at my company.  Asked him for his information and phone number, he said he did not have to give it to me.  I said as a company you do have to provide your information before I give you any information. I said to remove us from your calling list and by the way George this phone call is being recorded.  He said thank you and f***k you and slammed the phone down.

The call came to my coworker and transferred to me, asked for me by first and last name.  When I answered it was the same drill.  Middle eastern accent/male.  Caller ID says Car Network.

I just received a call from this number and caller ID stated "Car Network".  He asked for me by name and after I said "yes", he hung up.  Tried to call back number, but it does not accept incoming calls.  Very Creepy!!

Just got a call and caller ID said : CAR NETWORK - 9,1-8562040000.  
The person said my name and I said "speaking" and they hung up straight away.
The person sounded Eastern European to me

Same call as everyone else.  Caller asked for me by name then hung up.  Same number in caller ID:  856-204-0000

I got a call about a month ago at work asking for me by my old name. When I confirmed it was me, he said F*** You and hung up. He had blocked the caller ID. Today he called again and this time it showed up on caller id with this number 856-204-0000 and it showed up as ALL LIMO. He confirmed my name, stated he was a lawyer and then hung up in the middle of his sentence.

Why can't this guy be shutdown if all these people are getting these calls?

Obviously you people don't get it. They are phone number harveting by name association. Rude stinking scumbags will do anything for a dime....

Had the same thing yesterday at work (I'm in the UK). They called into my work number, asked who they were speaking with, I advised them my first name and then they said my second name, as if to know who I was. I confirmed and they hung up...very strange! Has anyone managed to find out who these people are?
