Thank you for the information.  I called this number and followed the steps to have my number removed from their calling list.  They said it would take 1-2 business days.

Don't answer the ,what is the problem ,do you need someone to talk to ???

Just got a call and it was a recording on something to do with insurance. About how they can help you so you dont have to pay high deductables. Kiss my well ok-leave me alone. Hope they dont call back!!

Someone commented on this site that they don't answer the call and instead keep pressing the # sign over and over again.  It had been suggested by someone on a news show.  That is what I am trying now, hopefully, it works.  Soooo sick of these calls.

I have the same situation here. This is annoying! They said this number is not in service though they just called me within a minute. I filed a complain with do not call list.

have no idea who these people are but I don't need any health insurance I have the state and medicare and my husband has VA benefits so please stop calling or I will report you to all the local TV stations as a fraud

sometimes I speak jibberish like I don't understand english....or keep saying what what I don't hear...

Beware ! ! ! They Are Not Who They Claim To Be - This Is A Subversive Attempt To Verify Who You Are.
The Only Way To Stop These Kinds Of Calls Is To Make Them Pay. Always Answer - They Have To Pay For Completed Call.  Keep Them Talking As Long As Possible With Fake Info So They Have To Pay More.

Put in a complaint with the FCC.  http://www.fcc.gov/complaints.  If you can document 3 calls after you ask them to stop, or if you can document "harassing calls", they are supposed to have all phone lines disconnected.  Harassing calls include calls made before 8AM or after 9PM (Determined by your area code, not your location), multiple calls per day or more than 3 calls in a week.

I once saw an episode of Becker wherein he was getting a lot of calls asking if he was happy with his long distance carrier.....he solved it with one of the pint-sized, canned air horns.  Be sure and thank them for calling...

Regarding the "DNC" list, I swear I stared getting *more* trash calls after registering my lines. Look at who runs it for cryin' out loud....I wouldn't be surprised to learn an insider at the is feeding the lists to telemarketers, or worse, SCHROOGLE! Heaven help us all if they get hold of the master list. ;-P

I'm about to try a novel approach....finish my contract, then, if I keep service at all, it'll be with a no-contract carrier that I can drop and relaunch at any time. Dumb phones still rule imho.

Get calls from this number on my cell phone, frequently.  I've tried calling back to get them to stop, just recently my cell number.  Recording always says:  "This number has been disconnected or is no longer in service", then a code is repeated?  Very annoying!

Except on IPHONE.  I had it on my droid, but when I got my Iphone I found out you can't get it on there.

What is a blocked list?  Does it block specific numbers?  Why do we need this if we are on the National Do Not Call List?

They call me 3 times a day...i work in an office and have to keep my phone off. then i have missed calls from them with no message...i want them to leave me alone. I tried to put them on my reject list and did, to no avail. i want these people to leave me alone. PERMANTENTLY.

I get calls occasionally from this number & several other similar numbers. All at the same time (about 1:40pm CT) and all telemarketers for different types services (health insurance, credit card services for business, etc). I am on the Do Not Call Registry & have been for years. If you are on the Do Not Call Registry, you can file a complaint here: https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx  When the Registry gets enough complaints about a number they will investigate.

I've been getting calls from this number. Supposedly it is from Manchester , CT. No message is left.

To ignore this phone number (Since they do not adhere to the 'Do Not Call List', I downloaded a 'Silent Ring' phone ring.  Now when they call (and any other annoying number, I have the 'Silent Ring' ring when this number is attempting to dial my phone.

This is as reported above a health insurance company. I called Engagetel @ 307.223.0458-also as reported above and had to leave a voice message. This 860.791.6718 was used today but a few days ago it was 860.791.6715. Engagetel actually called me back a few hours later and reported that they had this number listed as one of their businesses but it was closed some time ago and they haven't used the number in some time. She said that if you try to call the number you will get a message stating that the number is no longer in use-which is true. She said that somehow someone has learned to trick caller id into using this number on people's phones. So essentially it is a 'spoofed' number. I keep blocking the numbers but they keep calling...

Automated female voice saying that in these trying times it is necessary to have access to medical help.  After hanging up from call on land line the same number called on my cell phone.
