Credit card scam.  The message was something to the effect of:

"This is an important message about your credit card.  This is your final warning to save on your interest rate yada yada yada."

I got the call from 864-213-7092 this morning 3 rings then hung up.  I don't know who they were but the temperature is too high for me to hurry for a telemarketer.  I won't be rude to someone trying to make a living, but if I don't recognize the number and they don't leave a message, I'm off the hook to be nice.  Is 864 new in the telemarketer list?

I am called routinely and am registered on the "No Call Registry?"

We are on a "no call" list and they called using a recording.

These calls have been going on for months.  Always something about credit cards.  Prompted to press a number and call terminates.

Got this call today, phone rang 3 times then stopped, I checked the CID and dialed back. Told that it was a hoax and to call my PD which I did, they said I could come and make a report and told me to check the reverse call site to see if I could ID it, found all your posts and decided to post one of my own. That's my story and I am sticking to it. Have to redo my DNC again.

Repeated annoying calls.  Rude and  hang up when you ask to have your name removed.

Don't answer unknown numbers anymore--too many scams out there.  I'm on DNC list, but that doesn't seem to stop some of these "businesses"--no message left.

Called but left no message. Am on every DNC list available but does not seem to fully protect us from phishers.

Six days later I got a call from this number again.  I didn't answer but obviously that won't discourage this  company from working those poor people in their call center to call my number again.

8642137092 tried called, figured I would ASK to be remooved from their autodialer. I did ask, the ignorant putz that answered said "no, because you sound like you really wanted to curse." Let this clown call back, and see what he hears.

They said they were calling about lowering the interest rate on my credit card.  I had asked them to remove my name from the list.  They said they can't because I already signed up for it when I got approved for my credit card.   Not true!!

call came up as a Wireless Caller on my caller I.D. I don't answer calls from numbers that are unidentified.  Who does these days??????

They offer to reduce the rate on my credit card and when I ask them to remove me from their list, they hang up on me. If anyone can figure out how to stop these calls, I would appreciate it. I sometimes work nights and this type of call wakes me

They called my number which is unlisted about my credit cards.   I asked them who they were trying to reach and they in turn asked who I was....my name not given because this is obviously a scam when they randomly call..

Recorded message saying "This is your final chance to lower your credit card rate....."

I too receive numerous calls from this scammer promissing to lower my interest rates, though I
have been on the DNC List since its inception.

Would just like to chime in on what SANDYHOOK26 said: When I report a number abusing the
list, almost without exception, they stop, though it may take a few days. With all of the budget
cuts today, I am amazed the DNC List has worked so well!!! Unfortunately, there is little
that can be done when the call originates overseas.

Just like many already posted here, I received several calls from 864-213-7092.  This is a company wanting to consolidate my credit card / lower my credit card interest.  I hope enough people will complain to the  National Do Not Call Registry (URL as follows) so that they will finally do something to stop this company from keeping calling us.  https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx?panel=2
