I got 4 phone calls from these LOSERS in a 2 hour period.  Each time it was a stupid recording asking me  "If this is ******** please push 1"  Will guess what , STOP CALLING ME YOU STUPID LOSERS.  I had already paid the damn hospital after they made a mistake turning in my insurance information over 2 weeks before they started calling.  they aren't gettign any money out of me.  that's for sure.  [***] DEBT COLLECTION SERVICE,

The caller didn't know why she called me. She asked if I owed a medical bill. I replied no, then she asked for my SS number. I said, "I don't think so."

Who's calling me.

They’re legit. I was suspicious and refused to talk to them when they called, and doubly suspicious when I saw the comments on here, but I looked at the paper bill from the hospital – the very first one I received, so it was a normal bill, not a delinquent account - and this number is on it. They’re the hospital’s billing service. They wanted to know why I had underpaid by 20 cents, and yes, I did mistakenly leave 20 cents off the check.

They sound shady because they identify themselves as the hospital’s business office, which is not true, they’re a third party. And they ask for personal information before they will discuss anything with you, so it sounds like they’re fishing for information, but it actually is a privacy measure. Go figure.

Received a call from this "Business Office"  recording says they may ask for last 4 digits of social and birthdate by OSHA regulations to verify.  A guy by the name of Jordan picked up after a short wait.  He asked why I was calling...I told him that I had a voice mail saying to call however; I don't know anyone in Alabama.  He said okay, thank you and hung up.  I still don't know what it was or if it was legitimate.

Never identify who they are or who they represent or reason for call

I got an automated call from this number stating my full name and asking me to give a call back.

When I called back I got an automated message from the "Business office" - no legit name or anything. The message also said that this is their billing department and that the representative will verify my identity by asking for the last 4 digits of my SSN. I hung up to make sure that this is not a scam and called the hospital where I was recently a patient. They put me through to their billing department and I was told that I do have an unpaid bill but the hospital representative said according to their system no one has tried to contact me yet. She strongly advised me to call the hospital number directly for any further issues or inquires.

This definitely looks like a scam! Don't give them any information, call your hospital directly!

A robo message said, "this is an important call, if you are Jon D-------  please call us back, if you are not please disregard this message".Since the robo call message did not state who they were and the nature of their business I will not reply and recommend not letting an unidentified caller know they have reached a valid cell phone number..

The caller said my name and said to call back. When I did I was asked a lot of sensitive questions about my medical history and about my finances. I told them I was not going to give any sort of information to anyone that would not tell me who they were or why they wanted the info. They responded that the law did not allow them to give out that information. I responded with, "Then I guess I cannot help you. Goodbye!", hung up and put the number in my auto-block list.

I got the "This is an important call for _____" robocall.  I called back because their phone number is at the top of my (erroneous) bill from my local hospital.  They didn't say the name of the hospital until the end of the call, saying "Thank you for choosing ___ Hospital."  They needed the name of the person on the bill, the address, and date of birth, and were quite polite.  However, they're still wrong about the amount owed.  (They pulled a line item out of the amount that our insurance paid, from our health care account, and said we owed that amount.  Which they had already received.)

Called my cell first from an automated message then called my job!!!!!!!!! back to back when they called my job it was answered as a business which is illegal for them to call and not supposed to call if they hear a business answer. I am a collection manager myself and this is against the regulations of South Carolina. Called Federal regulations in Columbia to report the harassment. It was a foreign lady I Could not understand. They have called my phone at least 10 times in three days !!!!!!!!!! A creditor cannot leave more than one message in a day period on your vm they can call as many times as they wont but cannot call your job if its a medical collector.

Computer voice says "This call is for (your name). If you are (your name) call back at 866...and gives a number, but does not say who they are. Yeah, okay, sure, I'll call right back.

don't know this number and why they would be calling me. suspected spam.

These wretched people keep calling my cell phone - I am not the person they are calling, I do not owe any medical bills - I have already told them months ago that they have the wrong number, wrong person and still they call.   I finally called back today and left a message informing them that I have already reported them to the no-call list and that if they persist, we will take legal action.

*Legit* Collection agency on outstanding hospital bill. Unfortunately, I knew I owed it & they actually reduced the balance by half when I acknowledged the debt & agreed to pay it in full today.

Got a call today from this number, asking for (my name) and "if it is, please call 866-213-7755." Definitely a robo-call, but very polite. Makes sense to me that it's a collection call, as I've had several hospital visits in the last few years. Thanks for all your help.

This number is for a legitimate Third party Insurance and Medical Payment company. Several hospitals have 3rd party contract agreements with this # & the purpose is to collect medical debts owed to hospitals & physicians throughout the united States & US Virgon Islands. They have 5 departments associated with them so depending on the severity or pricing of the debt or if insurance needs to process will determine the Dept. Which you are directed to. Payment plans are available if unavailable to pay entire amount due. They allow for payment arrangements to be made, so that debts do no go into collections, so it's a common misconception that it's a Collection Agency. They process insurance information & they abide by HIPPA LAWS & Regulations therefore they are not entitled to discuss information with anyone other than guarantor/account holder or patient, they will not disclose personal health information until proper identity as has been verified. There are a few other numbers associated with this Third Party Agency, which are all legitimate numbers and are associated with hospitals and Doctors.
Yes the calls can get annoying, they can even start to send bills/statements to often as well   & yes it does seem sketchy however it is legit. If ever uncertain that medical collectors are legit contact your medical facility, ask for billing & they can provide with the answers to your questions.

Hi Debra, do not pay this, they will do nothing as it costs over $800 to file for a judgment.
