- BCI have received several calls from this 866# but never answer. The message left on the voicemail asks me to verify my name or if I choose not to..... just hang up. The recorded voice does not ID the caller or co.
- Caller: unknown
- anonymous replies to Kate| 1 replywell if you go into rite aid, and they don't know you, and you don't give them your ID, how do they look up or verify your prescription? Name and Birth Date. dun dun dunnnn! mystery solved. you need a lot more than that little bit of useless info for ID theft. (former fraud analyst/investigator)
- RichardCaller ID said "800 Service." They left a message asking for my wife (they had her name right) to call to receive an important message. We did not respond. We asked our local RiteAid, where we get our preseciptions, and they said they have nothing to do with it. It might be their corporate HQ.
- Caller: RiteAid Pharmacy
- Steve Gagnier| 1 replyThis is the second time i have gotten a call from Rite Aid holdings and I dont even know why they are calling me. I have shopped at Rite Aid twice in my whole life. THEY NEED TO STOP CALLING ME!!
- AngieSpam call!! Recording said was a Rite Aid representative Got hold of a person and she ask for my name, the recording had allready said my name, so i said i'll call Rite Aid, she say,No, Rite Aid don't know anything. So i hung up and called Rite Aid. Well they said, sounds like a spam, someone wants your info, name, age,ss#, then credit card ???
- Caller: Rite Aid Rep.
- Call type: Prank
- SteveBI have received different recorded messages from this number including a reminder to pick-up a prescription that had been ready for a few days and not picked up and one similar to this: A prescription for <name> for <medication> is available for refill. Would you lilke to refill it now.
I prefer not to receive reminders from retail pharmacies as I can manage my prescriptions just fine. I have asked to be removed from this 'service' but continue to receive calls. Since they come to my mobile phone, I'm glad I always have enough minutes so that I don't get charged for the calls.- Caller: Riteaid Pharmacy
- Call type: Event reminder
- zincIt is Rite Aid prompting a prescription refill. I did not request this service they do it on their own.
- Caller: Rite Aid
- Call type: Event reminder
- Jeffyes this is Rite Aid, its a automated recording asking you to call this toll free number back from the number it was called on, not sure why? I do get my prescriptions from rite aid but there is no reason then should be calling me at this point. I don't have anything to pick up from them. I don't plan on calling back.
- Caller: Rire Aid
- TLPIt is an automated call from Rite Aid Pharmacy to remind you that a regular Rx you have gotten there in the past is due for a refill. RE: Irked from above, yeah, it's their business. Pharmacies aren't McDonalds stores where you swing by and pick up your diabetes meds and some Plan B on the side. Pharmacists are medical professionals, just like your MD. This kind of call helps to keep patients compliant on medications they may otherwise forget to refill on time (that's life - it happens!). If one of them has been discontinued, fine, don't refill it.
In regards to many of the posts above, yes, it is a poorly constructed system and badly needs to be updated. In concept, it's a good idea, though.- Caller: Rite Aid Pharmacy

- Mick JI think its a great service! Way to go Rite Aid!! Oregon loves ya!
- Caller: Rite Aid Pharmacy
- mandyIt really is just rite-aid. They call monthly to let me know my prescriptions are ready to be picked up. No scam just a friendly reminder.
- Caller: rite-aid
- Call type: Event reminder
- road girlA computerized voice said my first & last name
- Caller: Toll Free Call
- VaBchThey left a message saying "Rite Aid Pharmacy" and asked for my husband by name. Computerized. No other message. Weird.
- Caller: Rite Aid Pharmacy
- DandanThis number is from rite aid, calling to remind you that either you need to refill your prescription, or that you need to speak with your doctor about ordering refills.
For those complaining about the calls, get over it...they're not being corporate a$$holes, some people (particularly older people) have a hard time remembering to get refills sometimes, so their system just automatically calls everyone who hasn't had their RX refilled.s- Caller: Rite Aid

- JeffJust got a voicemail from this # (866-219-2430). When I called it back from the same # where I received the message, it automatically identified the number and asked me to confirm (with a simple yes or no) if "Jeff (my last name)" was the person on the phone. I said "Yes" and it then reminded me that I had previously filled a prescription for a certain medicine (which I had) and that it was now available to be refilled. If I wanted it could have the prescription refilled and ready for pick-up at my local Rite Aid today. I said "No" and other than reminding me that it was the time of year when the CDC reminds us to get a flu shot (which a Rite Aid pharmacist could administer), that was pretty much it.
This is a long way of saying, it's a legitimate # from Rite Aid Prescription Refill Service and it never asked for any personal information other than to confirm that I was indeed the person it named.- Caller: Rite Aid Prescription Refill Service

- keith bradshasw...FBICall the FBI, the Department of Homeland Security and your State Police. When they call back, tell them that you are aware they are running an extortion ring, have notified the authorities and hang up.

http://www.fbi.gov/news/pressrel/press-releases/paydayloanscam_120710 - bend momIt is Rite Aid Rx refill service or "automated courtesy refill". I think you can have your name and numbre removed from this service if you don't want it. Personally I like it and use it every month!
- Caller: RIte Aid
- MarkI recieved this call from "Rite Aid" and they left a message on my answering machine. I called it and was asked to verify my information, DOB. I did not give that information and continue, I hung up because it did not feel right.
I called Rite Aid, they have a system to review the calls to see if you were called by their system. The Pharmacist got back to me that day and said they had not called me. I gave him the number and all the information. He reported this and has a ticket created for the issue. He was informed by the admins that they would not be asking for the DOB over the phone like that.
So if you get this call please report it. If this is indeed a scam they are very convincing as I use Rite Aid. I'm glad I was on gaurd with this call.- Caller: Rite Aid?
