Obvious voice disguiser used--left voicemail to collect debt cleared over 7 years ago. Using a script, no identification besides phone number. BLOCKED.

This company left a message saying they were a debt collector but they did not say who they were trying to contact.  I called back, because we do not have any delinquent debts, but I wanted to make sure they didn't have some account that was fraudulent or something.  Was on hold for a while, then got a message to leave a message.  That's not going to happen -- these people must not be legitimate.

I work in HR and they call me every day 2-3 times. I never answer and always click ignore and send to voicemail. They keep calling and never leave a voicemail. Glad I found out what they are about and never answered!

Received call from 866-224-9825.  Maya tried two variations of names with my initials before getting close.  She claimed I owed a debt of over $1,000 on a Discover Card.  I have NEVER had a Discover card and I have no debts.  I told her that if she ever contacted me again I would sic the Better Business Bureau on North Star Location Services.

These people call and I have no debt. I have reported them , deleted their calls and blocked their numbers. I am on the do not call list does not stop them

This company calls every so often at my employment however it's just a generic recording stating this is an attempt to collect a debt and it doesn't State the name who it is for. It doesn't even State the company that they are. It just States this is an attempt to collect the debt please call 866-224-9825

By reading the other posts to learn the name of the debt collector (something you certainly could have done) I found out that the name is Northstar Location Services. Same thing here they call my phone number at least once a day and i even have them blocked and they still leave a message asking for me to call them back and when i do they are looking for someone i never heard of and ive asked them several times to take my number out of their system and they say they will but yet they continue to call so next time they call im going to tell them im going to press telephone harassment charges against them and see if they quit calling me then and if not then i am going to press charges against them
