We kept getting calls from this number also.
If you have a selective call forwarding service (I have CenturyLink / Qwest), you can add up to 25 numbers to it. Once you're sure it's an annoyance caller (like 866-229-3821) just forward them to your VoiceMail retrieval number.
Then these calls go directly to VM and you're not bothered. They can still leave "hang up's", though.

If you have a fax machine, you could even forward the solicit calls there.
Then you can annoy them, they can leave VM and they might remove you from their list.

I have my answering machine set to answer on the 4th ring.  Rarely does any telemarketer or donation solicitor allow that 4th ring.  There robot computers are set to disconnect once an answering machine ring is detected.  They are still a pain in the butt...........

It is the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Call them back and press 1 to automatically have your number removed from their list. And consider Dr. Burzynski's cancer treatments instead of sending money to these guys to call/harass for money.

Getting calls from this number at all times of day and night, for WEEKS now.  I never pick up.  My phone service allows me to block 12 numbers, so now I have to delete one so I can add this one to my block list.  Doesn't help, though, because they probably have 19 other phone numbers they can use to disturb me.

Why should I have to call a number back to get removed off of a list when they should never have been calling this number as it is and has been on a do not call list for about 10 years now!!

Also, calling back numbers to get removed usually causes an INCREASE in unwanted calls!!  Instead of removing your number, you are confirming and validating your phone number!!  IT IS NOT RECOMMENDED TO CALL BACK!!!

And finally, I think we have a RIGHT to complain!  These calls are intrusive!  Just because I have a phone doesn't mean I want just anyone calling it and I have a right to say so!!!

non-profits and political and politically connected (i.e if you're a registered democrat, democratic affiliated groups) can call you REGARDLESS of being on the no call lists.  I've been told if you "redial" most of the legit ones have an option to press a number to be removed (in 30 days or so) from their list.  Some work, some might not.

caller id says only toll free.
Got this call at 9:40 AM aug 10,2013.
I let answer machine take unknown toll free numbers. This one left no message. Surprise,surprise.

8:25 am eastern hang up

Scream at them enough and they will stop.

Has called twice a day for the past week and leaves no message.  Pests!

keeps calling daily...no message left and no name for caller id.....................very persistant and annoying.
