I am also engraged!!!  I keep getting this same automated call from this computer voice telling me, "this is an important call".  Well, if it's so important than why don't they call the RIGHT number?  I have no idea why they are calling.  They say a computerized voiced name which you can barely understand and then tell you, you must call them back.  How do I correct this if I don't know what they are talking about without giving them MY information?  They try to get you to give them your number so they can "correct this".  I tried to call them AFTER they'd woke me up to tell them they had the wrong number and I was met with someone 'who JUST got in the office' and does not know what I am talking about, so wants me to give them MY number so they may be able to assist me.  I started to give them my number then I realized if I did, it might give them the permission they are needing to continue this harrasment.  So, I clearly stated that by my giving them my phone number 'so she may look it up and see who it was that called" and this was NOT giving them permission to call me back or again, and was met with resistance.  Know what this lady said,"  Mam, I just got in the office, I did not call you."  And I told her but SOMEONE from her company did and she does represent this company, correct?  She hung up on me!!!  SHE HUNG UP ON ME!!!  I couldn't believe it!!  This is harrasment.  And my husband I owe no one.  Perhaps one of my kids do.......that I do not know. But neither of my kids live here nor have them for 15 or more years!  They are grown adults living in their own places, not here.  How  do you reason with a computer?  OR for that matter a woman who denies 'she' is the one that called and wants you to give her your phone number?  Does she think I'm crazy or what?  I have never had to deal with a bill collector in my life.....thank goodness.  I feel sorry for the poor people that have to in this economy.  This lady sounded way too happy to fight with me.  I probably wouldn't have bothered to even call back but they woke me up and that upset me to no end.  And because it isn't the first time it finally just came to blows that I decided to call them back and tell them not to call me again and clear up that they have the wrong number.  But she obviously has done this before (which I haven't) and knew exactly the right things to say to try to get me to give her information.  I realize she needs to make a living also but not on MY dime!!  I thank the person who gave us the address here on this blog to write them back and send them a letter telling them to stop.  Not sure it will help, but it sure will make me feel better.  Thank you.

I am getting calls both at home and on my cell several times a day.  It is always a recording looking for someone using a computerized voice and I can never understand the name.  Sometimes it says regarding my civil matter and always wants me to call back.  I have not called back as the message never gives any information on what they want or who exactly they are looking for.  For now I am just ignoring it.  I figure if it's that important, they can tell me their information first.

this is not a scam company,and i am not a collector for thier agency, i would never work in an agency that is so unethical, and violates the fdcpa laws.. but to answer your question,yes they are a legit company

if we only made $8hr, there would be no debt collection agencies.. maybe the unethical practice agencies make $8 hr and that is why they are out to get the debt paid at whatever cost, but there are also agencies (where i work) that are paid a hell of alot more, and we don't have to be so "unethical" to get our money..

you must not have done your research if you're telling other people not to return the call to these idiots.. they are a real debt collection agency, however they are the worst i've ever seen when it comes to be unethical.. but people who are getting calls from them , they will be sued, and obtain judgement: and if you don't show up, you have no way to fight it.. once a judgement has been placed against you , these people will stop at nothing to get the money you owe.. so you are better off calling them and working something out, trust me, i found out the hard way, and i am a debt collector, and thought i knew what i was doing when it came to dealing with these people.

They're crooks honey! Unless you live in Virginia Beach, they can't do anything but continue to harrass you. I'm on the internet right now printing all these blogs about them. Even the names listed by people are the same names of the people that are currently harrassing me. They will threaten to take you to court and they WILL send faxes to your place of employment if they know it. Which is what they did to ne today. And this is not the first time they've sent the fax. Please google/contact "Law Office of Dean Malone". He helped me sue a debt collector, over a simple fax!! I got about $1500 after he took out his fees. Please call this attorney. They are quick & handle everything by mail. I got my money in less than 8 months! This is EASY money for these lawyers! They SPECIALIZE in debt collector lawsuits & they're good! Trust me! Good luck!!

have gotten 23 calls from ncw in the last 24 hrs. Been threatened with see in court. Serving me with bench warrants. Called my work  & had boss fax papers for garnish. Told them I needed something in writing about what bill is. Never got it. Now what? The # is 866-304-7249 Ext. 438. They have called now 7 times in last 10 min.

This company called my underaged special needs daughter's cell phone 5 times leaving threatening messages about case XXX and have her legal representative call them or they will file litigation.   She is 17 with the mentality of a 7 year old.  She has no credit card, no bank account and no debt.

They call sometimes human with the threat of legal action. and sometimes a recording I don't know who they want but it needs to stop!!

I have been getting threatening phone calls from the number 866-304-7249. They have also called my work, my dad, my grandmother. I think I will tape record them and then sue them!!!!!

I got the same thing.. saying that me or my lawyer needs to call ncw and that he was with the legal department. the number was 855-286-1918. i did have a payday loan and i have arrangements made paying it off. told him that i have already been working with someone and he said too bad and that i needed to contact him and give him all the information.

On a daily basis the above number call both my home and cell phone number.  I have no idea how they got either number but when you call back they claim a person is using my name as a reference or that a relative has used me as a contact yet I am tired of being bothered and harrassed for no reason.

tthese people keep calling my family and harassing them for information about me. they claim I owe money from a credit card that I didnt have. They get really nasty on the phone. Im unemployed and they said that they would take a lean out on my house. I dont own a house. STOP theses people
