Just got a call from Brad this a.m. too, when I returned the call, Jeremy took the call for Brad.  They may be a non profit (their site says they seek to employ disabled) but the price is too steep for me and it sounds like they are not good about giving the money back in accordance with their guarantees.

I asked questions and he answered them (based out of VA, we use a variety of websites to post your ad to connect you with buyers), but when "it sounds too good to be true," it is.  

All I know is, they have some good, invasive software to track me down.  I work in a prosecutor's office, and they called my DIRECT desk line, and my cell phone, neither of which were posted or are available to the public, and they left the exact same, generic, recorded "interest in helping" voicemail on both.

I also rec'd a call from "Brad" last week on my voicemail (did not call back) and a call from "Cody" at "Recyling Publishing Network" (let it go to voicemail).  Thanks to Google for helping me find out about these bogus companies!

Have received 4 calls from this number; only two messages actually left.  Last one was today (July 8) with a "Brad of Longwood Inc." asking me to return his call so he could help me sell my vehicle.  Guess I can't do it on my own...oh well.  I hate that well intentioned, honest people who try to sell their own assets are being harassed by those trying to make a quick buck.  The number that appeared is for an UNPUBLISHED landline in Las Vegas, NV.

I got the same call 2 years ago when I sold my car, it was Jacob back then, but now it's Longwood Inc when I'm selling another car using Auto Trader.  What a scammer.  My only regret was that I didn't pick up the call and he only got my voicemail.  Hopefully he'll call back so I can give him a piece of my mind.

Got the same call from Robert Curtain/Curtin. Caller ID showed nothing but the word Call. I thought that was strange enough. Didn't pick up, so he left a message twice. When googling his name, it turns out he is an actor. With both last name options of spelling. haha

We have had a few companies try this kind of scam here in the past few years. Just make sure to not give them any info, such as credit card numbers.
And besides, If there was a "buyer", why would the "buyer" not call you?

I received a call from Robert w/Longwood Inc to call back @ 866-326-0949 and left message they were non-profit "government" agency and would sell our vehicle for a fee of $99.  I had a previous message from a female but deleted it with no thought until I got the second.  We also had just posted our 2 motorcycles on Craig's list.  I too decided to google them and found all these comments.  Apparently they have more than one number.

Just received same type call from a "Brad" stating that he could sell my car listed on Craig's list for a price I was happy with at a small fee. Also came from a blocked number so I let it go to voicemail and he left the 866 number. Knew it was a scam and googles it to confirm....I hope eveyone does

Looks like this scam keeps being recycled. According to this website, people like me in the UK are being called and either getting the Jacob Reed message or being asked to give out personal details by someone claiming to be from a phone company Carphone Warehouse. Sounds like people on the inside are selling peoples numbers to these scammers for a fee. Its such a shame because some innocent people will fall for it and lose money.

Receive a voice message today from Brad, Longwood Inc, about my car that is for sale.  Same story that they could sell my vehicle for a fee and that they had buyers.  Phone number given in voice message was 866 326-0949.  I didn't bit.

Got a call and message from "Brad" and it sounded like a canned voicemail message. I'm not on craigslist, but Autotrader.ca and Used.com sites. Called the number and Tasha offered to help me. Told them to remove my phone number and the car info from their listings, and if they called again they'd be reported to BBB.

Its a scam....don't fall for it.   Have reported to the Federal Government fraud department.

They're still at it. This time it was "Brad", sounding like a real nice and cheery guy.

I got the same thing. The internet breeds more scams but at least you can check it out first. That is the last time I put my phone # on craigslist or anything anymore. Thanks for the info people.

got a call from brad trying to get me to sell a old truck that i have on craigslist come to find out when that same # calls they hang up when i answer I want this [***] to stop let me know how to go about it

i had a guy named matt call me,when i called back he was busy on another line,so a girl named emily said she could help me.I hope this is a legit company or im going to be really pissed(( a 149 dollars pissed))

I posted my motorcycle for sale using an online ad service and sure enough, I am now getting calls from a "Matt Carter of Longwood Inc." telling me he has a buyer for my motorcycle and will get it sold for me for a "small fee."   He leaves a number of 866-326-9921

i have gotten this message from a man named Brad and this has made me come here to say that this is a scam and thanx.When the call back ill rip them a new one

I just got a call from them and it was someone name Matt long wood inc. He was soo good at it that he almost made me believe him but thankz to google i found what these ppl are.. SCCAAAMMMM!!!
