This # has phoned me repeatedly but always while Im at work so I havent been able to pick up yet. They dont leave a voicemail.

Scammer posing as Telus calling my cell phone repeatedly

this number called my home within the past hour saying their telus I call it claims the same thing as well still felt like scam to me but I did ask for proof who they where and he started telling me what my billings are for the past few months always a little different not possiable for one cause nothing ever changes from month to month just how my stuff is set up they kinda knew a little to much... thst really bothers me as well where are they getting the info from...

This apparently is Telus - wanting to offer some promo deal on your cell phone. Never leaves a message - that's the recording I got when I dialled the number back.

This number has called me constantly for the past year. I answered it once. I have it blocked now. Sometimes they leave a message on voice mail and "You Have Voice Mail" appears on my phone. Well I don't have voice mail and no way of retrieving any, and Telus should know that. It is a foreign call center working for Telus probably from Pakistan, who will happily call you back again under a different number and scam you with the "You Won a Free Cruise" scam. or the "Lower Your Credit Card" scam or "We're from Windows You Have A Problem With Your Computer" scam. BLOCK IT and your scam calls will disappear. If Telus wasn't to advertise on my phone it can lower my rates or give it to me for free. My phone is for my use only not ads.

John Keells owns a call center situated in Sri Lanka, India and doubtless makes most of its money through scams. First it gets outsourced telemarketing jobs from North American companies such as Telus. Gets privileged information and then calls you back under another spoofed number to offer you free cruises or lower your credit card debt or tell you that you owe the CRS thousands of dollars. By the way 86636926 is also a spoofed number as it has no header and appears to come from the US when it is in India. Ask yourself what are they hiding? If the company does not put its name in the header. Do not deal with it do not even answer it. If you do several hours later you will get a scam call from the same people under a different number. They will probably even have your name.  Tell Telus to stop outsourcing Canadian jobs to scam operators overseas or else to pass the savings on to you with lower bills. Asking for the identity of the person who picked up! The call was terminated when he told the caller he wasn't interested.

This phone number had called me but no message was left when I missed the call. When I called back, an automated voice told me I had missed a promotional offer regarding my wireless internet.

I don't use any services provided by Telus.

This # identified as Toll Free Service 866-369-9826 called @ 12:20 PM May 24/18.  My answering machine did not receive a message.  This number calls nearly every day & @ least once/day & never leaves a message - just a 'click' when they hang up.  Can't they be stopped????  They are a NUISANCE!!!!

They have been calling me since 3 months ago, and one phone call a day lmao get a life man.

I picked up for the first time today and no talk, just silence XD okay well now im super annoyed so im blocking it.

I have had a call from this number EVERY DAY for the last month,  and because I don't recognize it I don't answer, and they don't leave a message.  I've even taken the phone off the hook and left it laying on the desk, but still no one talks, and they finally click off.  Very annoying.

This number called my phone but when I picked up the phone there was a silence and no one there. So don't know who they were and what they want. From what I read above this must be some kind of scam either to find when someone is home or selling you something. I am wondering why no one picked up on the other end. Don't they want to talk to someone live to sell something? Anyways it's SCAM and annoying and waste of my time.

Called me and after a pause asked if they were speaking to me I said yes and they said they were calling from Telus. I was not very friendly as it seemed very fishy. They asked me if It was a bad time and I said yes so they said they would call again.

This has been going on since 2007, and Rogers still hasn't blocked it at their level, shame.
