I keep getting calls from this number everyday. I wish there was a way to stop them.

The number 866 372 2508 calls me with a recording trying to talk
me into applying for their easy credit - credit card. I get a machine
each time (and) when I try to call them back I get another machine!
They call my cell 3 times every day. I reported the number to AT&T
and hoping they can help me.

I can't believe how proud you are to be in "The Industry"..  1/2 the time you people do not get the correct information aka contact #'s, addresses etc etc..  The other half of the time your chasing under $500 like its a million dollar hit...  This economy is in the toilet and all you see is quarterly reports of Banks and Credit companies putting up "BILLIONS" in profits.  I hope you find yourself out of a job and have trouble paying your bills, and become harassed by the same dirtbags that you represent...  GFY!!

I see all these posts are from at least 2 years ago. I got a call today from them. I looked it up and saw all these people saying they're either calling for credit card applications or because you owe credit one money. I don't want a credit card, and I if credit one is a specific credit card... i do not owe them any money. I'm not aware of any other outstanding debts I have, but I have moved a few times and things get lost. So i called the number back and the first time it said I won a free rebate for 100 bucks, i pushed zero to talk to an operator and the guy just kept telling me I reached the promotion people. I told him I wanted to know why someone called me, and he just kept saying I called them. I asked who I could speak to to figure out why I received the call, and he gave me some other number and wouldn't tell me who it was for. I called that and it was a weird AT&T number asking me to input something I had never heard of. I am curious if the whole thing is a scam, or if the number use to be a collector for credit one, and now someone else controls the number.  Anyone getting RECENT calls from this number?

just add the phone number to your I phone then go to settings and block it..i must have at lest 10 blocked numbers in mine...

Go to your phone settings, and block the number. That's the only way. The previous owner of the number owes them money, and they won't stop. Good luck.

Did it ever occur to ANY OF YOU that they could be doing collections on account from businesses besides the 3 or 4 listed here? I mean, if they call this many people, this often....then they probably employed a number of people. Suffice to say, those 3 or 4 accounts aren't near enough to keep that company running. Quit being so ignorant. Or not. If that's what you need to do to keep collections from collecting, then do what you gotta do. I'm not judging on that. Just the ignorance shown by so many ITT(in this thread).

Annoying calls!!!!!

They call and ask for additional money after on-line payment made according to their payment due amount.  Answered a call while driving (which I normally do not do) it was them demanding an additional $25 payment over the phone in addition to the on-line payment made.  Would not give her my banking information over the phone.  Said I was driving and I would go on-line to see what I need to do, the foreign speaking person would not take that as an answer.  She said, that's OK, I'll wait.  I said, excuse me, I have a 30 min drive.  She said, I'll hold.  I hung up...never was charged an additional $25.  

NOW, I am getting calls from this number, if I don't answer they leave recorded messages that say, "Congratulations, you have won a $100 Walmart gift card, press "1" to claim."

These people are the definition of loan sharks.  It is a horrible company!  Not worth the low credit limit...but I was desperate at the time.

I've gotten one call from this number and two from a number very similar. Each time I answer and say hello, they hang up.

I don't have an account with CreditOne but with Captial One.  I have talked to Capital One and they have no Idea why I am getting calls from CreditOne.  So let them keep calling.
