Got a call about a transaction on my checking for $1000.00 that I didn't make

got the same call. calling BOA now to see if it's legit.

Me llamaron desde ese # como si fuera un empleado del Bank Of America , pidiendo datos y que yo era víctima de un Fraude en mi cuenta tarjetas de crédito y débito , eso es un Fraude nunca den su información personal acuda a una oficina de su banco y revise sus cuentas ,solo confié en un oficial de su banco , el que llama es y  son estafadores profesionales

asked me for 3 digit code on back of my card, and name of co signer on my account really odd they said they were with bank of america, but I declined the co signer info, guess i better lock my card...

Got the call, asked for verification that it was BoFA. They said sure, we will hang up here and you can call the main number and get transferred over. Called main number and they verified it was a legit call.

I received a missed call and voicemail from this number advising it was Bank of America Online Fraud Team. Since I use to be a Manager at BOA I found it odd the number shown was not 1-800-432-1000. I called the number back and the recording said "Clear Lake bank and Trust" which is a different company NOT Bank of America.  So I hung up and called Bank of America (The# I know). They confirmed my account was fine and that they showed no record of contact or alerts.

This is a SCAM. This number does not belong to Bank of America. BEWARE

It’s a 100%fraud

Fake number texted with an unfamiliar transaction (security alert) + last 4 of an account number that wasn't mine, asking for a callback. I hadn't updated my phone number with BOA yet either, so I suspected it could have been the previous owner of my phone number, BUT when calling back it sounded low-quality and a bit off.

Called BOA to verify the number and they confirmed it is not them. The comments here saying it's legit are probably part of the scam

So, are their own employees the FRAUD here???? This is confusing!!! My funds was depleted!!!!!!!! because I fell for these low lives!

They called me and impersonated Bank of America. It was in fact a scam. Wanted to use Zelle to transfer money.

I had a message from this number but if it fraud did last week when I visited the bank of America the number of the fraud department is different from this ?
Which one is really?

It's fraud. Similar story to the person above. Trying access my Zelle
