I got two of these calls today!

I keep getting calls from this number three and four times a day.  I am registered with the national do not call list and they will not remove my number from their data base.

This number also called me, shortly after I ordered the Gyro-Bowl through Plymouth Direct.  I missed the call, but called back and the individual on the other end answered hello and called me by name.  I asked who they were and she said that they were calling because of my recent Gyro-Bowl purchase.  She proceeded to confirm my address.  Next she went on to say that as a token of gratitude they are giving me $100 "free" gas vouchers and some sort of coupon book. They continued on and on about how the first month of coupons were free, then they would start charging my credit card $30/mo. or something like that.  They read the last four digits of my credit card, which was concerning.  I stated that I did not want that, and she said there would be a toll-free number in the package I could call to cancel the service.  I asked if I could cancel it now and they said that would be dumb because then I couldn't collect my $100 "free" gas vouchers and continued to press the point.  I asked how much they cost, and she said they would charge my credit card $1 for them.  I once again clearly stated I did not want them at all and that I wanted to cancel the service right now.  She then got huffy, told me that was silly because I wouldn't get the gas vouchers, and I continued to clearly state that I did not want them and to cancel the service immediately.  She said that they wouldn't send the package out and hung up.

Since, I have been receiving tons of telemarketer calls.  Here is how I made them stop:
First I called Plymouth Direct's customer service line: 1-800-340-3418. They told me I would need to call the Budget-Savers Membership Services.  That number is 1-800-475-1942.  They are the ones who call with the "gas-vouchers" scam.  Call their number and ask to be removed from their call list and/or to have your membership cancelled.  When you get that first call about the "gas vouchers" if you state you don't want to be enrolled, you shouldn't even have a membership.  Either way, call that 1-800-475-1942 to confirm you have no membership and to remove your contact information from their database and to put you on their internal "Do-Not Call List".  They state it takes 72 hours.

Next, I called Plymouth Direct back to see if there were any other lists I could be removed from. They gave me the number to Quality Resources at 1-866-434-6600.  Call that number and ask to be removed from their database and to be put on their internal "Do-Not Call List".  They state it takes up to 24 hours to take effect. The individual who answered that call stated they weren't sure if Plymouth Direct had any other lists that I could be removed from, so they transferred me back to Plymouth Direct to ask to be removed from all marketing lists.  

The representative who answered at Plymouth Direct said they would transfer me to the Customer Services Manager named Chris.  I imagine you can get to Plymouth Direct's Customer Service Manager by calling the 1-800-340-3418 (without being transferred through Quality Resources) and ask to speak with them.  I then asked him to remove me from all Marketing Lists. He stated he would do so and would put me on their internal do-not call list.  I asked him if there were any other lists or companies they provided my information to that I could contact to be removed. He stated that they don't sell the customer's information or anything like that.  

THEREFORE, THIS IS THE CLIFF-NOTES ON HOW I GOT THE CALLS TO STOP:  
1-800-475-1942 : Budget-Savers Membership Services = ask them to remove you from their list, put you on their internal do-not call list and/or end your membership
1-866-434-6600 : Quality Resources = ask them to remove you from their database/marketing list and to put you on their do not call list
1-800-340-3418 : Plymouth Direct = ask to speak to the Customer Service Manager because you want to be removed from all Marketing Lists.  When you speak to him/her, verify that they will remove you from their marketing lists, will put you on their internal do-not call list, and have not provided your information to any other outside agencies.

It is a good idea to call those numbers from the phone-number on which you're receiving the telemarketing/spam calls, as your information pops up in their system when you call them and they can more easily remove it/flag it as a "do-not call" number.  If you call from a different number, make sure to verify it's the number you're receiving the calls at that they remove and/or put on the do-not call list.

This has made the calls stop for me.

These people keep calling and never say anything on the line.  They call as late as 10 pm.  Last call on my caller ID from them is 9:57pm Eastern.  I'm registered on the do not call list, yet these fools still call 4-5 times a day.  There has to be some punishment for this type of harassment.

I also am on the do not call list and this number calls me constantly at all different times.  I do not answer and like other cannot understand why they don't stop calling.  Ten minutes ago they called and woke me up.  I just had surgery and enjoy my sleep time. I need to find a way to stop this number from calling me.

they call every day  any time there scamers real company dont call after 9 pm and i think they call me because i purchase some stuff in this web site that u want one thing and they want to sell u doubles o triples

i started getting this number calling every 2 hours from 9am--8pm on my cell phone!!!!!  i didnt order the "gym" but i did order a personal improvement product from the web with my visa card  a week ago or so... ... from the info (other post) have given, its a classic selling of info because to buy a product on the web you have to have all the personal info "annoyed" mentioned ...all of the posted reaction to this # number has been helpful..thank you

im almost positive that its the 'as seen on tv" because i have NEVER ordered anything online untill about a week ago...it was the 'easy feet' scrubber that looks like a sandal ...and its one of the "as seen on tv" thingys...a friend bought the "chef basket" the same way and gets the same # calling as we do...its  one of the "as seen on tv"  also....as is the gyro, etc..its an absolute disgrace to do what they do!!  even worse is they get mad at you when you say something about it !!!!!!   WT@........all posting hav been a great help and filled in the gaps for me..thank you

called twice yesterday within a half hour.  i called back and it was busy.  they called about an hour later and i got a recording that said goodbye.

Anyone know who this is calling I wont pick it up EVER

Started receiving calls from this number several days ago. I don't answer.  They call 4-6 times per day, even as late as 9 p.m. and don't leave a message.

I am reporting this number to  the Federal Do not call registry complaint office.  For those people getting calls on their cell phones, most cell phone companies have instructions on how to block specific phone numbers from calling and/or texting you - email your cell phone company and they will tell you how to do so.  For those with landlines that are on the Do Not Call Registry, file a complaint.  Also, landline phone companies also have a program where you can block specific phone numbers from calling your home number, and they only cost about $3 a month.  Well worth it in my book!   My phone has been on the Do not call registry since it's inception, and I re-register all my phones (including cell phones) every 2 years or so instead of waiting until the five years is up, so NO telemarketers have any business calling ANY of my phones, EVER.

Report them, they will receive very stiff fines from the federal government . . . the more people that file complaints about this company violating the do not call list, the higher their fine is going to be:

You can also file a complaint on the above website for ANY companies who use automated dialers, whether or not you are on the Do not call list.  Any company that calls you must use a HUMAN to make the call and not a computer.

People...just call 866-379-2003 and select number 2.  They will take you off their list.

I get 3 or 4 calls a day-They never leave a message

The company is Budget Savers, through Quality Resources. They are trying to sell a program that is $19.99 a month, automatically renewed and paid by your card (which they have on file). It is from a product that you have bought (for me it was a SuperWave oven). They have your name, address, phone, and card number on file because they are the larger sales department for a variety of companies. I told them I was not interested and they were persistent. When they asked me to verify my credit card number, I hung up. I'm going to report them to my bank just to make sure. Watch your bank statements, people...
