    angry lawyer
i am a lawyer and have contacted the ontel products group (customer service company for liquid focus group - they are the company who sells iron gym, etc.) and have let them know that should there be any charges authorized by them to my credit card or a continuance of unsolicited calls (which is NOT disclosed in their privacy notice) i will be naming them as defendants in a class action law suit.

that said, i would encourage you ALL to call the better business bureau and document your complaints (its free) ... this way should we need to, we can deal with this in court and finally make these ridiculous phone calls stop

They called me yesterday all day long. I finally called back and droped the phone and accidently hung up. I called back again and they answered calling me by name. That was wierd. I thought that was wierd considering that I was using a work phone that is not in my name. Needles to say I thought it was a scam and hung up intentionally this time.

Iron Gym?  Never heard of them.  I've also not ordered anything online for quite a while now.  I'd really like to know how they got ahold of my cell phone number as only my closest friends have it.

I do believe I'll be contacting the Better Business Bureau about this.

I just did a quick Google on Quality Resources and discovered this information from another site who's name just happens to be Quality Resources as well.

The company pestering all of us is:

    Quality Resources (telemarketers)
    28870 U.S. Hwy. 19, N.
    Clearwater, FL  33761
    727-712-2271 or 727-712-0382

Yet more information one can give the BBB or whoever you choose to report them to.

If you ordered a colon cleanser and paid for shipping than you just got scammed. That is how they have your credit card number. Fit Factory will send you a confirmation email and if you don't read the bottom they will automatically charge you $20 a month for a subscription fee; you have 20 days to cancel. You have to call and cancel your subscription. The shipping fee is to get your info. You will never get the product. It's a SCAM!!! Beware.

I got a call from them today. I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message. If anyone does decided to answer try to see if you can get any info from them like an address. An address would be great. Post it here and everywhere and everyone who keeps getting calls from them can start sending them dead animals or just a good old poo! We should send them lots of Poo! Yeeees!

I called the number back, it rang 1/2 ring and they answered "Hello <insert my name>" ... I was like... WTH!!!! How dare they!

only thing I recently did was Amazon's trial for their prime whatever... canceled it the moment I got my free shipping upgrade.

    Always gotta sell our info!!!

I believe I am getting these calls because I ordered a product called "Hyrdolize" (spelling?) which is a cream to remove bags from your eyes from an advertisement on ESPN radio.

I did the 30 day trial and sent the product back following the instructions and they still charged me for the product.  They were playing "it got lost in the mail card" and I should have gotten a tracking number.  Thankfully I did have a tracking number and had proof it was delivered and eventually received a refund.

I've been getting calls like this since I've ordered from them.  The last time I answered the call as Larry's plumbing and told them I was a commercial business and was left alone.  I'll have to do the same to the people on this number too.

They've called me for almost a week and a half and 2-3 times a day.  Kind of annoying.

Yea i bought an Iron Gym not to long ago and began receiving these calls also. If that is the issue I think I will be going to Iron Gym and filing a complaint with them first. It's one thing to sell email an email address, but you credit card number!? There is no way in hell that should even be remotely legal. After reading all of the comments up here I see whoever is calling has multiple company names, so I can't accurately report them to BBB. If anyone can get a REAL company name out of these rude people post it here.

I contacted Quality Resources Customer service and confirmed that they own the number 866-379-2003. The told me that they bought my information from a company that gathers transaction information from retailers (could be online or not) and that they do not know which retailer or transaction led them to being in possession of my information. They also told me that their customer service dept can see my name, address , tel number but not the CC number. A supervisor can see the last 4 digits. I asked to be removed and never contacted again. They complied and gave me a confirmation number. Time will tell. I asked to be transferred to a Supervisor who gave the last four digits of my CC. I can now try to determine whice retailer sold my information. Not much can be done because Retailers are under no legal obligation to keep personal info private. They can sell or give it to a so called "marketing partner". The banking/mortgage/financial industry is prevented from selling it on, but not most other retailers. I will add that they were polite and courteous. The customer service number is 866-434-6600

I bleeped out my own name. I've received this call from a business phone. Been asking for a message to be taken down, but they hang up after I ask for a message to be left for the "owner" so, right now, I'm really pissed. I don't even know what IRON GYM is....!!!??!?!

All I gotta say to VCS, is:
    ..!.. (-.-) ..!..
    Top that VCS!

My wife's cell phone has been on the national do not call list for years now. She recently started receiving 2-3 calls per day from these clowns about some "Kids First" video that has apparently been sent to her. Yeah, right! I entered their caller ID into her address book with a silent, no vibrate ring. Fixes that issue.... Since they have a toll-free number, that means that it costs THEM each time I call. Time for some payback. My fax is now set to dial their toll free line 999 times tonight and every day that they continue to call.... If everyone who hates these guys does the same, think about how much this will cost them if we all do it??? !!! $$$ Let's let the autodialers do the talking....

Hey guys Just to update everyone I told you guys about how I called to be taken off their list to be called and have not received one phone call after.  Simply call the different number they give you if you call them back and its an automated system where you give your phone number.  If I remember right it takes up to 48 hours before they stop calling,  but I stopped receiving any phone calls after doing that and talking to them on the phone and telling them how disgusted I was with them.  The easiest way to deal with them is to just call them and you won't hear back from them.
