Why the heel would you think two doctors are calling an innocent bystander in oklahoma?? Fail.

Caller is "Cardon Healthcare" in Houston TX..
They work for hospitals that have uninsured or dead-beat patients.
If you've haven't been a patient and are getting calls, it's probably because someone gave them your number.

I too am getting calls from this number, and i also live in Oklahoma.  I was recently in the er and after my visit i started getting calls from this number.  I already have helath insurance so they need to stop calling

How the HELL can you be a deadbeat patient? There are dead beat parents, they chose not to pay their child support,  There are uninsured patients, they can't afford to pay the cost of helthcare because the insurance industry was given 4 years to F**k the people by the republican house before the healthcare laws take effect.. And there are judgemental a$$holes, they say things like "deadbeat patients".

I just got a call and went to their site.   This is a collection agency for people who don't have insurance.  When I was at the hospital last week I was told I would contacted my the business office to arrange payment for a CT scan.  My guess is that the Cardon Outreach is the hospital's outsourced "business office" that handels the accounts receivable.

Thanks Ruf for the info.  I'm getting daily calls during my toddlers naptime for someone in my area that likes to give out my phone number for things like this.  With your info, I was able to contact this company to let them know the patient they are seeking is not currently, nor has not been ever at the phone number I currently have.  Hopefully they will take the appropriate action to seek other channels of contacting this person versus calling my house daily with an automated message.

I keep getting calls as well. You can block their calls. They didn't leave a voice mail. So, I am not concerned.

thanks, found this, trying to get these idiots phone number, they had an automated caller. They were asking questions about Medicare. It asked if I was covered.They also had my name. Now that I have this info. I am calling. On the West Coast and they have woke me at 6:15 in the morning! Two days now, I would callblock them, but the phone would still ring first.

Note: I tracked this phone # down. They were coming from Texas. After reading Ruf's reply, I called that number. They asked for my soc. I said no. They had my name so I gave my name. She couldn't find me or the reference number. Then asked if I was in the hospital recently. I said yes. she said where. They have acquired some offices for outside outreach. She gave me the phone number of their office where I was in the hospital, I was on vacation there at the time.I talked to the patient advocate there. she was able to access my info by my name and ref. number. I called then had to leave for an appt. so got her name, said I would call her back. I did, and she had told someone named C. J., I spoke to him, told him about the 6 a.m. calls  and that I was on the West Coast, and that these calls were probably generated in Texas. He bacame aware they had not taken the time zones into consideration. He said he would take care of it. It is for people who don't have or can't get insur. I also told him, there was no way to reach a live person. He said it would be taken care of. I am no longer getting a.m. calls. Especially since I don't fall under their categories. I also had him look at the compaints on this web site. thanks, glad I found it. so I hope this solves some of the problems here, if not contact the place in Texas and get the number  of the local area where your hosp. was, and you want the patient advocate. Explain your problem. So call that number Ruf wrote in his message, and tell them what's happening and where you were in the hospital.

Thanks!! Although their offices were closed for the weekend when I called, at least now I have a number to call.  It was beyond annoying to have a fully automated system on the call that I received! There was not an option to say that "John Doe" doesn't live here.

Anyway - at least now I have a good number where I can call first thing on Monday!

I receive calls from this number asking for someone I've never heard of.  I am on the Do Not Call  list I want these calls to stop

I received 3 of these calls in the last 4 weeks or so, the latest today.  I called the number provided by Ruf "800.417.4845" and the lady I spoke with were very helpful.  It turns out that my cell number was linked to 4 different accounts \ claims none of which I knew.  She flagged my number and marked it as not being correct for any of those accounts so hopefully no more calls.  All total I think I was on the phone with them for about 10 minutes.  Very please to receive good service!
